Y’all are some real dandies with your negative reviews - this place is fine. Sure, the rooms are a bit dated - bedspread original to opening sometime in the mid-eighties, I’d guess, but the front desk was above and beyond personable and helpful and our room was clean. All and all, not a bad stay for $70.
Not what you see in the pictures. The room was not clean. The floor was sticky and the nightstands had dust. The room had a really bad odor and was outdated. The AC unit needs to be washed, it seemed as it had mildew.
The location was not too bad, it was tricky to get to the hotel. Hotels can undergo renovation.
The staff was friendly that's the only positive thing about the hotel.
Had 2 rooms, both Rooms were dirty at check in, 1 had dirty q tips on the floor and used soap in the shower. Both floors were dirty, both rooms musty smelling. Outside of property unkept. Trash overflowing, hallway and steps hadn’t been vacuumed in some time. No elevators. Disgusting!
We flew to TX for the solar eclipse. Our Terrell Airbnb fell through just a few days before our arrival, so we scrambled to find a decent hotel within the path of totality that had 3 available rooms. We were very pleasantly surprised! All of the staff we encountered were super helpful and friendly. They put all our rooms together (though we didn't ask for that). The rooms were spacious with large bathrooms. Everything was clean and in working order. The breakfast was really good with a lot of options (eggs, sausage, waffles, etc.). They even gave all in our party free solar eclipse glasses! My only suggestion for improvement is more lights in the rooms. We only had one lamp between the beds, so it was quite dim in the room. Otherwise, we were very pleased!
The only positive thing about this place was the gentleman that checked us in Friday evening, he was super friendly and personable. Parking lot feels super sketchy from the moment you pull in. The whole place is extremely humid making the rooms smell like mildew and cleaner and all the bedding feel damp. Even with the a/c on the highest/coolest setting this was still a problem. Going back to this place was such a dreadful thought we actually considered skipping out on our last night and driving through the night to get away faster.
My husband and I stayed at this Terrell Quality inn for work in Dallas. We we're greeted by Javon. Please excuse if my spelling of his name is incorrect. He was informative, welcoming and very friendly. The rooms are spacious, a/c works more then well, safe area. Not the Ritz but worth every saved penny. Will definitely return, thank you Javon for you're kind welcome!!!
Positive: No hot water problem Negative: Moldy h/a unit. dirt on curtains. Pill on floor under vanity during entire stay. Wadded up paper under vanity. Door key card hard to get to work.
Positive: Location Negative: Very outdated and had an odor and not clean. Our ac was practically hanging off the wall
Visited the museum as a destination on a family history tour. My dad trained there in Course 9. A wonderful museum in a somewhat obscure location. The museum and its associated WWII era history is a must see for any military history buff, and or avia
Favorite breakfast place in Terrell! They have such kind staff who are amazing at making you feel welcome and accepted. The food is always amazing and I love the atmosphere!
I was introduced to this dinner by a local who recommended Pop's for good cooked food. They have 16 different vegetables and meat cooked in 15 different ways. I had fried chicken, corn, and the most deliciously prepared pumpkin! I'll definitely reco
