Quality Inn & Suites on the Bay near Pensacola Beach - Hotel in Gulf Breeze - 51 Gulf Breeze Pkwy, USA

This place is perfect if you have young children and/or toddlers. There's a small 'beach' out back that's a 20 yd walk from the nearest room and the sun sets over the bay which is perfect for sunsets. The building itself is old, however the rooms aren't terrible and it's fairly priced. Also, it's not too far from the beach. Maybe a 10 min car ride at max w traffic. Recommended, esp if you're on a budget and want to get away.

Absolutely disgusting. My s.o and I went down for our birthday and wanted to have a wonderful trip together but were unfortunately stuck having to deal with a terrible excuse of a “hotel.” On our second night there was a cockroach in our bathroom and when we asked for a new room the front desk lady barely even cared and you could tell this has happened before. She switched us rooms and the next morning there was another cockroach by our balcony door, which is a poor excuse of a “balcony” in my opinion. Paid an extra $250 for a 2x6 concrete slab with two gross chairs. When we told the lady about the second cockroach, we asked to cancel and be refunded because we should not be paying that much money to sleep with roaches. She tried calling her manager but she was unresponsive and still hasn’t reached back out to us. On our last night there, there was a lizard on the wall next to our headboard and when moving the nightstand there was a dead cockroach under it. At that point we did nothing because we knew they weren’t going to do anything either. This place needs to be shut down. We left right away in the morning and when checking out with front desk they made it very clear that fixing this is the least of their priority. My advice, pay the extra money for a better and cleaner hotel and one that will treat you with respect. I’ve worked in a hotel for the last five years and I could never imagine treating my guests the way they had.

Decent for the price. It was clean and the continental breakfast was great!! Be careful with the door latch, push it all the way open when you leave. When we left, the curtain pushed the latch over and locked us out. Other than that good stay!!

Great location, not well maintained hotel. "Clean" wash cloth had pubic hair in it. Paint was peeling off the tub floor, air conditioning was barely cooling. Shoddy paint and the bathroom mirror light flickered like a horror movie. The pool was massive and fairly clean at least. Also, the attached Italian bistro had really good food. They need a major renovation on the hotel though. Staff was friendly.

Location is convenient and easy to get to. Room service never came You have to go to the lobby for anything- including towels Only eat the breakfast if you’re homeless and desperate Walls are paper thin!!! You’ll hear the dogs barking and neighbors having “a good time.” This is a “beach front” property but be careful. One wrong move and you’ll drop down at least 4ft. There’s no railing, no safety warning signs, no yellow paint, nothing. Lastly the showers are only good if you’re like 5’6

Nice close little getaway. Nice to have an affordable place with such an awesome view. Private beach facing the West makes it a sunset spectacular. Nice in ground pool. Older property but definitely maintained and very nice welcoming staff.

Jun 2024|Where to start. The rooms need repair and good cleaning you littler had a 1 inch at least gap under our door the doors don't shut properly and they get super hot. The pool was good but they need more shade / umbrellas and tables. The beach side very rough wood chairs and no shade at all. The breakfast was awful absolutely awful. The place had a lot questionable things going on that I didn't feel Safe with my kids. But if you want cheap and on the water u get what u paid for. The pool Water was nasty staff not friendly . You smelled weed and people just smoking it in front of there rooms. No|Elevators . The halls ways from front to|Back where sketchy and dark day or night . But the part where bugs mice rain whatever could|Get under the door was really bad anyone could have broken into that room . There is no way this place is up to code .

Positive: The location was amazing! We loved being able to swim and fish. Negative: It was disgusting! We had cockroaches and other bugs in our room. They did change rooms for us, but were extremely rude to me our entire stay. We never got our room cleaned and I even called and asked.
