We spent about 5 days here. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the room and accomadations were nice enough. free breakfast is nice but nothing extraordinary, can't complain and it ends at 10am. the location and price are the best parts about this. not too expensive and right next to Northampton. the ability to walk down to Northampton and do anything or easily catch a bus somewhere close by and head out to Springfield or Amherst is the real thing you pay for here. the hotel itself is nice. it's a cozy vibe. the pool and fitness center were not open during our stay and i suspect theu rarely if ever are actually open. no real vending around either. you can buy some stuff at the desk. but there are a couple of local shops and gas stations to grab some essentials. overall we loved our stay here.
Where to begin whit this review. I had to stay here for a lacrosse tournament at UMass. I was traveling with two young children and my wife. We were welcomed by a party on the balcony and an overwhelming smell of Marijuana. I advised other team parents to check the locks on their windows which all happened conveniently to be unlocked. Then I go and check the AC filters they looked like they had not be cleaned since the unit was installed. This want just our room it was like this in 90% of the rooms we had booked! Unbelievable! Then we happen to see not one, not two, but three drug deals go down within the first hour of our visit. We then come realize that part of the hotel is section eight housing residents who live there and carry on for all hours of the night we were less than pleased. Our room along with several others contacted the front desk about the partying and loud noise they seemed umphased when told to shut it down. This was one of if not the worst places I have ever rested my head. I served over seas and have been to some pretty questionable place before but this one takes the cake. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT STAY HERE! This place should be condemned! A full refund should be issued to my team for this ordeal we had to endure!
The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Though the room had the scent of a prior smoker (a no-no), it was quite comfortable and I was glad to be on the first floor with an exterior door - very reminiscent of childhood family vacations. The breakfasts were tasty and filling. The hotel's location was convenient, within walking distance of where I needed to be. Thank you for your care!
This motel is pretty rundown It’s not a hotel to start… weekends are over $200 the same price you could go to a more higher end in the area. The front staff are very knowledgeable and patient, housekeeping is okay they do the best they can, but it’s so rundown! Now the issue here is the breakfast staff lady, my clients and I came in that morning and we heard her talking about all the customers and swearing. She was very very loud and didn’t care who was around. She claims that people are “taking” food… The breakfast is provided as one of the amenities with the price so if someone is helping themselves to the breakfast bar, it is not considered “taking “ no matter how much someone consumes She decided to give out bottled water to only people whom she chose and denied other people… sat down and watched the whole “drama unfold “ very unprofessional and quite frankly mean to talk about customers, swear and chose who she gives food and water to and denies or complains about to….. we have traveled all around the world and never ever seen such a thing.
A good value room. The building is a little dated, but the room was clean and had basic amenities. The hotel offers modest free breakfast that can help you start your day, but nothing too fancy. In a good location to the rest of town and any transit you might need to take.
I made a reservation on 12/22/23. For this past weekend as it was graduation for my daughter at U Mass. Reservation was accepted. On April 1 the hotel called me and stated I must pay now if I wanted to stay on the dates I had reserved. I paid as requested and my card was charged. Three weeks before I was to arrive I was called by the hotel to tell me that due to government contract I might not have a room. That I might have to look elsewhere. There was no hotel in this late of a date for that weekend. I told the Quality Inn no I would not look elsewhere and that the room was reserved in 2023, I paid over a month early. Four days before I was to arrive I received a confirmation notice from another Hotel 10 miles away saying I was staying there, that it was booked for me by the Quality Inn. I called Quality Inn and management told me I was lucky to have any room at all. I will never spend one penny with Quality Inn or Choice Hotels in my lifetime. They treat customers like crap.
So I would come back here, the location is optimal for where I needed to be. The room itself was honestly one of the cleanest well kept rooms I've seen in the choice hotel brands. Now the outside of the property needs some work mostly cosmetic. And the customer service unfortunately is terribly lacking in providing relevant information like the pool not being available and the work out room and the overall attitude of the front staff some retraining might be needed. But I would come back when I'm in the area!
Grande chambre, bien situé au coeur de Northampton. Petit déjeuner inclus. Réceptionniste très gentil. Homme de service très bruyant vocalement. Grand stationnement.

Christmas is super busy for them, but the staff is friendly, and food is good ð even when the kitchen is backed up. But it's Christmas, so it's totally understandable. Just be sure to be kind and patient and tip your staff even if they are rushed

The gym is really nice and the range of equipment is great but some of the men that workout here are creepy, and will harass you when youâre trying to workout. If youâre a woman, you might get bothered by older men.
Jakeâs is the best brunch place in the area! Food is phenomenal, plenty of vegetarian options, and the atmosphere and service are always excellent. They always have creative specials and plenty of tried and true staples on the regular menu. The sof
My wife and I have been going for years. The fish chowder is some of the best out there. The fish specials are always super fresh. Paul and Elizabethâs never disappoints! Delicious food and great service. Keep doing what you do P&E !
I stopped in while visiting the area. The coffee is wonderful, and the apricot croissant was flaky & sweet without being overwhelming. The store does not have any restroom facilities therefore, no seating, but if youâre adventurous, you can stand a
I am blown away at how good our experience at India House was. We decided last minute to get dinner while we were out and after a quick search we saw that India House had a lot of Gluten Free options on their menu. We drove over and found parking on
Went with family and had a great time. Service was good and the food was delicious. With three different meals and desserts eaten, only one person said their dish was a little too salty, but that may just be personal preference since they've been coo
