Stayed here one night while passing through. Hotel is a little dated but staff seem to care and are doing a nice job of keeping it up. I checked for bed bugs based on previous reviews, and the mattress had a zippered protector on it. Have not seen this before, and was not sure if that helped me feel more, or less, comfortable. Stayed on the 3rd floor and there was some kind of problem with a woman yelling and crying. This carried over to the breakfast area in the morning. Staff seemed to be experienced in dealing with this kind of issue. I was impressed with the breakfast area and the staff who went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and provide a nice atmosphere (other than the drama with the woman). They keep the eating area very clean and the tasteful Christmas decorations were a very nice touch. Overall a good stay for our needs.
So I have stayed here many times before, but this occasion was my WORST experience at any hotel I’ve ever had. So I rented a room for 2 days, we happen to leave the room early around 9:30/10am, with ALL my belongings scattered in the room. The cleaning employee staff took it upon themselves to walk into my room before checking to see if I had even checked out ( which they would have seen my check out was the next day) but anyways they walked into my room, saw all my stuff, I had dirty laundry in the trash can (no bag I usually use the bathroom one for laundry) & they threw my laundry in the TRASH!! We came back & walked down the hallway & saw them coming out of other room, we proceeded to ask them why they went into the room & they said it was to “clean” which you don’t clean the room till someone CHECKS OUT! Well here the good part, whatever “manager” was working took it upon herself to take picture of MY personal belongings!! I found out today AFTER I checked out, SHE charged me for a $150 smoking fee because she took pictures of my PERSONAL belongings in a room I rented. & she never once told me she went into my room or took those pictures! I found out from BYSTANDERS! She was mad because we called her out on going into our room and throwing our CLOTHES away so she said we were “smoking” except I was NEVER smoking! My stuff happened to be laying out because I rented a private room & she came in here without my permission & who else knows how many other people she’s done this too & maybe they just didn’t notice or they brushed it off! Considering the amount of my valuables & how comfortable she was to do this, tells me this isn’t her first time! I will be calling quite a few places tomorrow! I want my money back! I never smoked in my room & she needs to be fired!!!
I don’t know why this property doesn’t have higher reviews. Maybe because it’s not a Hilton? If you are looking for clean and quiet with excellent customer service, this property is an excellent choice. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable and the Wi-Fi didn’t have any problems. Someone mentioned that the property was dated and we didn’t see any indication of that. The breakfast was typical choice: waffles, eggs, sausage, gravy, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, muffins. Choice properties have really been cutting back but not this location. When checking in, we requested a different room than the one that was assigned and Christy or Chrissy (?) helped us and was very patent and kind. The next morning, Robin was also very friendly and nice. There were several ladies picking up trash in the parking lot which was amazing because so many properties do not care. There is obviously pride in ownership and management here and the staff actually seems to enjoy their jobs. The property is pet friendly with a nice side and backyard. We didn’t use the pool but it looked well kept. We definitely would stay here again.
The stay here was pleasant. The room was clean with no smells and the lady up front was friendly. The check in was fast and easy. We was on the 3rd floor but they have an elevator so that was no problem. It was really quiet and the bed was comfortable. All in all it was a nice stay.
The room & staff were lovely. The first room we had, we were next to a a couple with a dog. I asked to be moved & we were no problem. The issue came the next night when the person above us would not stop jumping running & stomping throughout the room, specifically over our bed. I called the front desk several times to complain, however nothing was done. It went on the entire night into the next morning! It really ruined my night & I got no sleep. Next time I book a stay I will be requesting a 3rd floor room. Hopefully it’ll be better next time!
I would have given 5 stars, but I had to wait for the staff to come in from outside to check in. The staff seemed to want to stay outside a lot. The people in our room talked really loudly, using curse words every other word when talking. They also talked about illegal things they were doing. There were a lot of people coming in and out of room. There was also suspicious activity in the parking lot. I was afraid to report it. I made a review on their website as well, but it was HEAVILY edited. Oh, the smell in the hallway and that coming into our room from the adjoining room smelled like 'Jane' delivered it personally. This could definitely be a great place to stay if mgt checked on it more often. Choice hotels are definitely changing.
My wife and I have stayed here twice and both times have been a good experience. It's in a good location near restaurants and gas stations. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean.
Nice and clean rooms, WiFi and Cable television great connection. They serve breakfast that is very good and have different varieties to choose from, staff is very friendly nice atmosphere and swimming pool area clean very sanitary place to stay.

Spent four days in Niles near my Dad for Christmas. Rooms were comfortable, and clean. Spacious and nice. Staff was very nice and polite. Kids loved the breakfast. Lots to choose from.
Outstanding holiday display... This was a great way to end the season and start Epiphany, Three Kings Day. We're looking forward to visiting these gardens later this year (to see the actual gardens).
Beautiful park that has compacted trails. 3 trails to choose from. We took the longest route which was 2.3 miles. They all loop. It was beautiful day to get out and walk.
This was our first time ordering from âPizza Transitâ. I am so glad we did! We had a craving for breakfast pizza, and it so happens that is what Januaryâs Pizza of the Month is. The pizza and breadsticks were delicious! A perfect balance of fla
While there isn't really anything left from the 1691 fort, there is a lot of cool stuff to see here if you're in the area. As a historian, I'd recommend doing a little research before visiting the site because you're going to get a lot more out of it
We were at Notre Dame last weekend and saw that we were very close to the Michigan state line, so we decided that we had to go into Michigan. Right as we crossed the state line, I said we should just eat dinner here in Michigan, and I said I wish we

Went during football game and it was a pretty popping scene! Food took a little longer than expected (we did have a big party and three orders of chicken tenders) but the waitress was great at her job! Food was delicious and wish we tried more on the
