Quality Inn & Suites Jefferson City - Hotel in Jefferson City - 1716 Jefferson St, USA

Myself and my 6 year old arrived at midnight, no one at the front desk. After 5 minutes of waiting and yelling hello, I called the hotel. Several rings later and someone finally appeared. She was not friendly, not apologetic, and apparently not very well trained. When trying to add the $40 hold for incidentals she asked if I had used my own card to pay online for the hotel. I had. Few minutes later she asked to see the card. I gave it to her. Few minutes later she gives it back and asks for the card ending in ####. I told her that's the card I used and I don't even have a card that ends with that. She sighs and goes back to typing. I asked if we could use the restroom while she was working on it. She told me no. It would just be another minute. The frustration must have been evident on my face because she said just nevermind. How many room keys? Finally got into our room at 1240. The shower had a significant leak and was dripping. Several surfaces were sticky and our sheets had cigarette burns in them. Had I been alone and not exhausted, I would've left and went somewhere else then. The staff in the morning was not any more pleasant. And I have a $40 charge on my card she supposedly couldn't find in the system.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, breakfast was very good, better than last year. |Hotel is under new ownership, so there were many changes happening. Seen staff doing deep cleaning, pool and hot tub was clean. ||Linen was soft, that’s a must. ||Highly recommend

Well what can I say. One of my towels in my room had pubic hair on it. Definitely beware this place. When checking out the housekeeping informed me that I left a bag in my room, which I am thankful that they did. But he stood in the doorway demanding a tip. My tip to him was clean the towels better! Only thing good about the breakfast was the bananas. Location was the only thing good about this place.

Staff was friendly, Rooms was big and clean. Kids enjoyed the pool and the hot breakfast. Morning desk agent was excellent. Will definitely stop by on our way.

Positive: Location and restaurant next door. The room was clean. Pool area was clean. Negative: The room was was not what I expected of a Quality Inn. There were scratches on the doors. Bathtub was dirty, only two towels that were old and didn't even match. The bed was okay.

It's what I expected. These aren't complaints, just an acknowledgment of what we observed... Main floor smelled like marijuana the first day but not the second day... makes me wonder the last time someone lit up in there. Pool was small. Jacuzzi water was yellowish brownish nasty. No clean towels stocked. Cracks in drywall tape throughout the room. First room given smelled of smoke, even though they are a smoke free property. After checking out the breakfast, went somewhere else. Eggs, biscuits and gravy could be new, could be old, hard to tell. Why are there two bins of eggs? From outside the room, you can see into the room because there is a gap between the door and door jamb.

Positive: Location to the place I needed to go Negative: Room key system was down and didn?t get key until an hour after I checked in. Was let in room by staff. Room dated. Breakfast was not good.
