Quality Inn & Suites Gallup I-40 Exit 20 - Hotel in Gallup - 1500 W Maloney Ave, USA

This is one of the best Quality Inn's I've stayed at for a while as far as appearance and cleanest. It's within walking distance from shopping and dining. It's also right off I-40 which is good and bad. I do hear the noise of the traffic in the rooms closest to the highway so have a white noise app handy. Also, a lot of vagrants in the area, but that's out of the hotel's control. They do try and minimize it by having a metal fence around their property. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

It was Nice and clean. The staff was Friendly. Close to lots of restaurants. The room was quiet. Plenty of parking close to the room. The pricing was reasonable. Non smoking. Pets are allowed but the room was still free of pet hair or any smell of pets that stayed previously.

Had to attend a funeral in the area. Spent 1 night at this hotel. I reserved a handicapped room but we did not get that room. My greatest need is a walk in shower with plenty of grab bars, a tall boy toilet. The room was okay, furniture is old, no microwave in the room. The bathroom door squeaked loudly when opened, the door to the room needed new weather stripping, could see daylight when door was closed, Did not feel safe. Positives- friendly, helpful staff, beds were comfortable, parking right outside the rooms, plenty of lighting at nite, property is fenced-in, free breakfast included hot foods.

The staff are friendly and they offer a complimentary breakfast. I recommend requesting a room that doesn't face the Home Depot, which is behind the hotel. From 10p-6a, the Home Depot plays loud music to deter RV campers from staying the night in their parking lot. The music is so loud that it can be heard from the hotel rooms nearby.

The bathtub water has a constant drip. There is no place to plug the room fridge into, too far away from an outlet. No plugs by the bed night stands to charge your cellphone. No elevator, so I had to haul everything, including cooler, up outside stairs past people smoking on the balcony. The room floor feels like it is covered in sand. The AC almost works. We haven't even laid on the bed, a little afraid to. Never staying here again, the modern version of Motel 6.

The front desk lady was deaf. Apparently she thinks that double queens means double full sized beds. DO NOT EAT BREAKFAST HERE!!!. The bacon tasted like cardboard. The eggs were inst-eggs. The room had cheap interior. Before we left this dump we saw a cricket in our room. Never will I stay here again.

Clean, Enjoyable w/minor Mx needed. Train passer by’s. RV, car hauler parking. Left before breakfast, could jot comment on this but? Had coffee. Recommended. Reservation prior to arrival and had no glitches, problems. Only overnight stay. Than you.

I was disappointed in the fact there wasn’t a microwave in my room, 107! I was told I needed to request one! However the app did not indicate as such and all the pictures of the rooms show a microwave and refrigerator in them. If you are no longer providing a refrigerator and microwave you should state as such on the app and also state these can be requested for future reference. I cannot enjoy the food you provide for breakfast due to food sensitivity and allergies so I must bring my own food and need these amenities. ||Also you should update your pictures of the rooms without the microwave and refrigerator. That way customers will know they are no longer provided, which is a shame for those who truly need them. ||Also I couldn’t get the heater to warm the room even at 80 degrees. I had to wear a jacket and cover my myself, but around three am it finally warmed up.||I liked the fact the bed was lower to the floor. I do not like the mattress cover which bunches up and makes the ole hips angry, wonder if there’s away to tighten the sheets and mattress cover so it doesn’t bunch up. I’m like the princess and the pea, I feel every lump and bunches.
