Quality Inn & Suites Florence - Cincinnati South - Hotel in Florence - 30 Cavalier Blvd, USA

This is an older place. Facility cleaning needs to improve. Cob webs on the room ceilings. Light fixtures were broken, and outlets and wall fixtures had a thick coating of dust on them. What was representative of a bedspread had stains on it. Cushioned chair had a huge stain/water mark on the seat cushion. There is MOLD coming thru the paint in the ceiling. I got sick the first night thinking it was just a sinus headache but then realized that I was responding to BLACK MOLD!

Very nice place. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Customer service was very good. If your looking for a clean place to stay I would definitely recommend. The only problem we had was the fridge made a ticking noise but I let the front desk know when we checked out.

The room was musty like a damp basement, ran to the dollar store for clorox wipes and air freshener. Trash on the floor ( room couldn't have been vaccuumed). The shower moldy and water pressure was low. The towels were dingy (we asked for more at the front desk). The pillows on the bed were glorified throw pillows and flat. I asked for more pillows, and the mgr said there weren't any readily available. We picked it out because we only needed a night. It was a decent price and had good reviews. I'm really sad about this place...but it's old and outdated. Now I know.

The beds and pillows were comfortable. The have a fridge and microwave in the double bed rooms. Not sure about the other rooms but I assume so. It’s like a cheap version of the Hilton .

Future travelers beware! Did not have the best night. Had a lot of weird problems, the water from the shower was yellow for a second then clear which isn’t a neat sight. Second issue was the fire alarm was tripped waking us up at 3 in the morning kept beeping for at least 30 minutes. And to top it off right in the morning we found bed bugs! Please make sure to inspect your beds, we found them hiding underneath the bed skirt found around 3 babies and one 1 adult. Got around 4 rashes in the morning. If you get room 273 please be careful.. I have tried contacting through their email since the manager wasn’t available but haven’t gotten a response yet.

You get what you pay for, for sure. Staff was nice enough but we got to our room and it SMELLED. Requested another room and they obliged. That room also smelled. Got used to it quickly enough but ew. We got in after midnight and I was just too tired to switch hotels and we are only staying for one night (coming in from our it state for Cincinnati children’s). No bugs that we saw at least

I was looking for a good value for an overnight stay. I only gave it 3 stars because it's old and smelled musty when we walked to the room. However, the room was clean, staff was pleasant and it had a sufficient breakfast. I would not stay here again.

I should have done more research before booking. The hotel was not clean and the rooms were very dark. Hallways very smoky. The air conditioning did not keep up well in the July heat. The fire alarm went on and off for two hours in the middle of the night. We will not stay here again. (FYI: this hotel does not have an elevator.)
