Quality Inn & Suites Fishkill South near I-84 - Featured Reviews (532)
Certainly not the newest building but it was decent enough. If you really love the color brown you are going to love this place. The breakfast was sub par; the standard powdered eggs were not even offered. Location near I-84 was perfect. The price paid was not worth the money we spent. The rooms were clean and neat, and the beds were comfortable. The most amazing thing about this hotel was the front desk clerk ALICE. She was friendly, cheerful, and professional.
This hotel has outstanding service! We had a delayed flight that resulted in no rental car at airport until next morning, and reserved hotel canceling us as a no show. We were able to make reservations with Haley at Quality Inn&Suites Fishkill, NY but the normal check in time is 3 pm. Since we hadn’t slept all night, we were exhausted so I called the hotel to see if there was any possibility of getting into our room earlier. Haley did some ‘magic’ and when we arrived at 9:30 am, our room was ready and waiting. For a senior couple who had been up all night, this was a kindness we will never forget. We’re already booked for our holiday visit and look forward to seeing Haley and Alice (who was the front desk person in the evening and very warm and friendly) and enjoying another comfortable stay.
Pros: Convenient location. Better priced than similar hotels in the Fishkill area. Free breakfast. Clean room, complete with basic amenities. AC. Hot water with good pressure. Comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff.
Cons: Traffic noise is audible for rooms facing the highway. The AC unit is very loud when running (enough to wake up a light sleeper when it kicks on in the middle of the night). Bathroom lighting was a little dim. Dated decor (but not a deal-breaker).
Overall, it is reasonable hospitality for its price. Perhaps less ideal for noise-sensitive travelers.
Positive: The staff was very friendly and the location is convienent. Negative: The A/C unit in the room is "energy efficient" which in practical terms means it shuts off every 2 minutes or so. It was very hot during our trip and the A/C just didn't keep up. The breakfast also was lackluster.
Was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was. Bed wasn’t very comfortable but not too bad. Breakfast was great. Coffee mediocre but it is just hotel coffee after all. Location was perfect for us. Actually kind of a pretty spot. Would recommend if you are looking for an affordable hotel in the area.
Older hotel but clean and comfortable. Biggest issue is getting the tv to actually come on. Spent a half hour trying to get a local station without any luck. They need to get back to basics. Staff friendly and accommodating. Nice little breakfast buffet. All in all, well worth it if you don't plan on watching any tv
Positive: Alice! By far the best asset to this wonderful hotel. Was very impressed with the hotel. It may not be a 4 star hotel, but it sure beat out the 4 star hotels we have stayed at. And the 84 Diner at the end of the parking is an added gem. Negative: Traffic noise, which hotel can?t help.
Went to bed with the room comfortably cool but it didn't stay that way. In the middle of the night the room had warmed up and no amount of adjusting the unit would help. ||Then at the front desk I later noticed a sign announcing something to the effect that if the outside temperature reached 67 degrees, the a/c would shut off and only outside air would come in. Huh? So the hotel decides for the guest what is comfortable? I suggest staying elsewhere until maybe November. ||Also, this place does not have high definition TV. Haven't seen that in years.
Stayed recently and it snowed that night. The parking area was well treated. The staff is attentive, and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is convenient and a decent selection. Close to major roadways.

Good for a quick weekend trip! The room was clean and spacious. Had a microwave and a fridge which was a plus. Nothing extravagant. Just what you need for a few days. The only downside was we went when there was clearly some kind of childrenâs spor
Stayed here for a few nights, and had a very nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the furniture seemed new.
The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and professional. Hot water and coffee were always provided in the lobby (the water
The taste of their food is super close to the Halal Food Trucks in NYC. Iâm so happy I have a spot not far from home that I can go to now. Their food is delicious ð
This mom and pops shop is absolutely the BEST! Hands down Bert is the best cook and his wife and daughter are absolutely amazing! We celebrated my dadâs 60 birthday here and it was everything we wanted it to be! Thank you guys for making us feel
Wanted the âNew Yorkâ style pizza experience without the New York traffic, this place did not disappoint. The pizza is FANTASTIC, the people were nice and quick, and the prices were more than fair. The chicken bacon ranch pizza is delicious, will
I would recommend this place and I canât wait to go back! It isnât a huge water park but it is all you need for a fun summer day! There is tons of spots with sand to add a beach feel! I suggest getting there early as well. It wasnât as crowded
Being here was a great experience.
My burger was cooked over flame ( the way a burger should be cooked), and it was perfectly delicious.
I had a cup of coffee, with my lunch, which was made from fresh roasted beans. It was strong, but not bitter.
I lived in Korea for 6 years and I can say this Korean place is legit! I am super excited to finally find good Korean food that I donât have to go down to the city for. I seriously recommend this place, especially the ì ì¡ë³¶ì(jeyuk bokkeum)!!
