Quality Inn & Suites Denver Airport - Gateway Park - Hotel in Aurora - 3300 Ouray St, USA

Comfortable bed. Maybe even clean sheets. AC worked. Noisily. The rest needs a savage renovation: Shabby, run down lobby, split and stained upholstery & walls & flooring. Smelly hallways. Pool is small and has visible surface debris. I wouldn't dare it or the hot tub. Room carpet felt sticky underfoot. TV pretty undersized. Remote batteries were taped in; mostly marketing channels. This is a 1.5 star hotel.

Check in staff was a bit grumpy and somewhat unfriendly. Didn’t feel welcomed. However, once we got checked in, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, and shower looked nice! Happy with the room. Breakfast included hot scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, and sausage. So getting a few hot option beyond just waffles was also really nice. Maybe the staff was just having a bad day or something…? But that’s a minor issue and other than that, hotel was good and felt safe for the night we stayed.

We were sent here by Frontier due to a flight cancellation. (an entire other horrible story). There were multiple cancellations. This property was bombarded with full shuttles for 2-3 hrs, midnight- 2:30am. The night auditor, I believe Keesha, handled all of it with| a great personality and hospitality. As we called, multiple times to check on the shuttle, she answered nicely and professionally. Once we arrived she was very attentive. The hotel is a nice hotel, very clean, and the employees are very attentive. Our room was awesome! We slept beautifully. Since our new flight isn't until midnight, we have no where to go after checkout. They allowed us to hang out at the pool and hottub, and there is a full bathroom, with shower, to get freshened up before we head to the airport. Thank you staff for helping us through the awful Airline experience.

Room was clean and comfortable like most choice rewards hotels. Always basics but clean and easy to check in. Always Good value for the price! Most the time the breakfast is basic with 3-4 hot items. Eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage, biscuits and gravy, and waffles, toast, bagels, yogurts, pastries, etc!!! Usually Makes for an easy quick breakfast! However this morning they only had cubed potatoes out on the hot line. Was disappointing to not see scrambled eggs and biscuits/gravy or sausage patties/links. Only had the one hot item, usually they always have 3-4 items of hot food. Was sad to see, was looking forward to the scrambled eggs with some salsa! Being a choice member I would like to always see this standard taken seriously.

Rooms were fine, they were clean but the microwave didn't work. The breakfast was delicious, they had someone always making sure that the trays were full. Pool and Jacuzzi were very dirty. 🤢 The water was yellow in the Jacuzzi and you couldn't see the bottom of the pool. It is nice to have the shuttle to and from the airport we didn't have to wait a lot for it. Just make sure to let them know you will need one!

DO NOT STAY HERE!! United Airlines put me in this hotel on 07/21/24 and within 24 hours I had bedbug bites all over my face, etc. (4th floor room). I had to spend my short trip treating all my things. What a nightmare on top of my delayed flight! In addition, the guy who works the front desk was incredibly rude to everyone. He hung up on several folks when we called to ask about the shuttle and someone from another hotel ended up helping us get to the hotel. Then I witnessed the same employee raise his voice at this other lady who was asking a very normal question in a normal tone about the shuttle service back to the airport. Not sure what this guy was going through, but no one deserved to be yelled at, especially given lots of these folks had been delayed for days in their travel and were exhausted. Show a little compassion! The other lady was somewhat better and at least my key card worked, unlike everyone else who were helped by the guy.

I hate giving bad reviews but I don’t even know what else to do about this… my husband & my flights were canceled. We were given vouchers to stay at this Quality Inn. After waiting over an hour for the airport shuttle, we all pack into the shuttle and make our way to the hotel. They checked us into a room that was absolutely destroyed.. there were other travelers with us who came back down & said their key cards didn’t work, or surprisingly their rooms were also destroyed! Hotel manager (presumably) says we will have to hop in a shuttle and go to the next hotel! We hop in the shuttle which was suspiciously silent, & they drove us VERY far away from where we were initially posted up.. that was odd, & then when they dropped about 20 of us off he peeled off fast… Then we found out why, they were not affiliated with the hotel that they dropped us off at… & they cashed our vouchers so we couldn’t even reuse them again… So.. poor guy at La Quinta (new hotel) was bombarded, 24 hr helplines are not available 24 hrs.. we’re on our own & dive hotel rooms are at a premium rate that doesn’t even make sense at this hour of 2am… As folks are preparing to sleep in the lobby after being abandoned, they then took our confirmation numbers and gave us rooms & said they’d follow up with the airline for reimbursement & took information on the CRIMINALS AT Quality Inn And Suites Gateway Park.

This place was so awful. Rude from the start, unprofessional to say the least. They tried to deny my reservation since it was booked with an airport voucher- at 1 am with 2 sleeping children and one crying child, we were exhausted after major delays and rerouting. They found us a room after I threatened to call corporate, then the key didn’t work after hauling us all up to the 4th floor and back down- to be told it was surely my fault for not using the key correctly. Finally got a new key made and it worked. They refused me a shuttle back to airport. They started cleaning breakfast up 30 minutes before they told us it ended (along with 4 other families also there trying to eat) literally taking food from us. Found out from another family she was charged nearly $800 for two nights (no wonder they didn’t want to accept my voucher, to be clear this note was not even close to full, they were being greedy and evil) The room was fine. But the people were awful. United should not contract with them anymore
