Quality Inn & Suites Castle Rock/SW Denver - Featured Reviews (126)
Very nice hotel. Great location. Contrary to other poor reviews, our experience was excellent. Reception, check-out staff was very friendly and very nice. Room was clean. Breakfast was very basic continental breakfast but perfectly acceptable. Check out was easy. I don’t expect the Ritz Carlton when I stay at a Quality Inn. It was exactly what we wanted and expected and I would stay there again.
Do not believe at least half of the 5 star reviews, the hotel likely paid a third party for them because the sheer amount of 1 star reviews would absolutely decimate their google score. These people are horrible, rude, and greedy. Do not stay here. Even the OYO across the street (the former Motel 8) has better customer service and a much more friendly and welcoming environment.
First off I was very happy with the room, It was clean and I liked the design. But I'm not a huge fan of companies trying to nickel and dime customers. You have to pay a fee if you want to check in before 3:00. I travel a lot and go to a lot of hotels and this is the only place where I showed up around 1:00 and was told I had to pay a fee. The breakfast is a joke. The only thing that's really available is waffles. They have some yogurt and some cereal but that's it.
The worst experience was with the front desk lady. She was very impatient, she got frustrated very easily. She was frustrated with customers on the phone. One that really bothered me was one that didn't speak English very well and she kept breathing hard and raising her voice. Trying to explain before she finally threw the phone down and got someone who spoke Spanish. I'm sorry but a person like this should not be working in hospitality. Just my opinion...
I stayed there with my family for about a week during vacation expecting it to be a good experience and unfortunately all we found was gross negligence and management which was EXTREMELY scummy, money grubbing and cutting corners.
I want to be perfectly clear after talking to multiple people who work there: This is exclusively a management issue, whenever employees try to do right by the customer they are threatened and treated badly, this needs to change if Quality Inn is going to get better.
I do not recommend anybody stay here.
This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. It was disgustingly overpriced for what I was given, and they even tried to get me to pay for random things I wasn’t informed of before, even going as far as to take the money out of my account!! Someone named Johnathan was there and he was downright horrible at his job, when I asked for my money back they refused!! Not just that, but I have a service dog and they told me to pay an extra 250$ (which is the money they tried to steal from me). My dog is a cardiac alert dog, he is legally allowed in the establishment and the information about this hotel states that it’s pet friendly!! Johnathan was incredibly rude, and didn’t like my dog being in the establishment. I will NEVER come here again, and everyone should avoid this disgusting hotel at all cost.
This hotel has to actually be one of the worst hotels I have ever visited in my whole life. I was met with secret fees and I wasn’t allowed to know where they were coming from. Johnathan, one of the employees here, insisted that these extra charges on my card were just mistakes that would be sorted out later and they never were. Due to these fees never being taken care of, I am missing approximately $800. This is absolutely ridiculous, and my day was ruined. Johnathan also implied that me and my husband were poor because we kept asking when we were going to get a refund. I believe he said something along the lines of “If missing a little extra money is really that big of a deal, maybe you shouldn’t waste your dimes on a hotel” or something. Completely unprofessional! No kindness or respect, just unprofessionalism and disrespectful wait staff.
One of the worst hotels i’ve been to, I mean i guess this is what you get for the price. Horrible management, front desk people were day dreaming and horrible assistance. A lady asked if the front desk if they could refill the syrup and the front desk person told her she was rude??? The breakfast was very sparse waffle batter and syrup that constantly ran out. Cereal that was stale and the rooms had a weird smell to them. The bathroom did not look clean AT ALL. I hate this place but the price is low.
These people are hustlers!!! They tried to steal over $200.00 from my sons bank account without permission!! They took $25.00 from my bank account without permission. (It is being investigated by my bank) We had a dog with us at checking and for 4 days in hotel and on day 4 the manager comes and complain about dog ( when it's supposedly pet friendly) saying we owe $160.00 pet fee. Why not say anything about pet issues at checkin???? Pet fees are understandable!! But when your business is shady and misleading and try to get over $300.00 fraudulently and wait 4 days to say anything,, we'll that's poor business. Will never stay the week again at Quality Inn- Castle Rock, Colorado. I'll just take my money to the good people at Holiday Inn. The Quality Inn-Castle Rock, Colorado is no good. Don't expect a good breakfast either.. it was a joke. No meat protein barely any waffle. NO HOT FOOD AT ALL.
