The service at this location was very nice. They tried to overcome their problematic hotel, but they failed. First, when my son took a shower, as soon as we arrived, somehow water leaked all over the carpet floor OUTSIDE THE BATHROOM! Second, the toilet flushed, maybe every two or three times. Not good when three or four people have been traveling for close to a week. Our complimentary shampoo and conditioners were only half full. I'm so glad someone else was able to use it before I was there! Disgusting! I didn't even bother using it and I used my own. I was grateful for the refrigerator, unfortunately, it froze my lettuce on the bottom shelf. Had I known that I would have brought ice cream! Ugh! How disappointing for a Choice Hotel!

The rooms were decent in size. The hallways smelled like Vanilla in an over powering way. Yet, the room itself smelled like Indian food. The bathroom had burn spots, stained shower floor & leaky faucet. The bed was pretty firm but the pillows were not too bad. Breakfast was a joke. Literally one had a loaf of bread, 3 yogurt cups and a waffle maker. The apple juice was all we got. There is a swimming pool, but again, not worth our time to check it out. I did think it was cool they apparently sold single beers at the front desk. $100 security deposit. Surprisingly, it returned to my card within 48 hrs. Would I go again? Not voluntarily. Cracker Barrel is across the street and McDonald’s & Taco Bell too.

After reading the reviews, I felt the need to leave one of my own after staying here a few nights. I think it's important to note that this is a budget hotel. Things aren't going to be as updated or as clean as you'd see in a high end hotel. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The pros: The location is great! Quiet area with several restaurants within walking distance. Pool seemed clean and was open Fri, Sat and Sun that we were here. The bed did me well, but could potentially be too soft for some people. The room and the linens smelled normal. Certainly not like roses, but it didn't smell dirty or like smoke either. Staff was always friendly. Important to note, I didn't see a single bug either in our room or in the halls, which was one of my biggest concerns coming in. Not to say that there aren't any, but we certainly didn't see any. The cons: The couch has a bunch of stains, to the point I probably wouldn't use it. The bathroom was rough! A lot of obvious water damage, especially on the ceiling that certainly needs repaired. Dirty showerhead, stains in shower, broken doorknob and cracks/crust along floor edging. Most of the linens had some sort of stains, but nothing extreme. Halls were fine, but stairway looked like it hasn't seen a vacuum in years. Extremely limited cable channels, but you do get the full HBO and Cinemax lineup. And as others have stated, breakfast options are depressing and very limited. In conclusion, if you keep an open mind and you're just looking for a place to sleep, you shouldn't have any issues. However, if you're looking for an experience and amenities, you might be better off elsewhere. Important to note that all rooms are different, so your room could absolutely be better or worse that mine was.

Smelly, dirty floor. TV didn't work even though they said it was being worked on and would come on later. Never did. Built up dirt in corners of the room. Hard bed. Two lamps had no bulbs in them and a third one didn't work. Only one light in the room worked. No clock. No radio. Dirty Windows, Rude Staff.

Positive: There was not much I liked about this hotel except they put our room across from the pool. Negative: The room was extremely dirty and the sheets were wet and stained. I am glad I brought my own blankets. We had three kids try to breakdown our door. The front desk night person did not care that this happened and I had two kids in the room with me.

Positive: "" Negative: I picked this hotel based off a previous visit but the standard that was there before was NOT what is there now. The bathrooms were gross, there was paint coming off the ceiling and a toilet that wouldn?t flush correctly. The rooms has a strange smell.

ChristiChristi

Positive: I loved that the room had curtains that actually shut out all the light. The bed was comfy. The bathroom needed a little upgrading. The toliet and the toliet seat didnt match but it was clean. The room was clean and I was very happy with the price and ro Negative: "" Negative: ""

Positive: The gentleman at the front desk was very polite. Negative: We left as soon as we checked in and went to our room. The room had bugs. I did not stay long enough to see if they were bed bugs or not. I just left. The whole hotel smelled like marijuana. For some it is not a big deal, but it stinks!! Negative: ""

Absolutely fantastic, my favorite shaved ice place in the local area. Wonderful ice quality, no chunks at all. Great flavor variety, very pleasant people working the stand. Prices are around 5.50 for a large, not sure about anything else as I neve

Clean, except for the geese droppings, but that's okay, nice walking trail, workout equipment, and two ponds.
