They should remove the "quailty" from the name! We first got to the room and it had a bit of a funny smell to it and noticed that there were pieces of tape on the carpet holding it together apparently. Not all of the light fixtures work and then the next morning we got up to take a shower and it would not even drain. Pay a little bit more and get a better Hotel!!!!!!
One of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed in. I don’t know where these people got their five star reviews because none of it was in good shape. There were areas where there was virtually no parking near your room. A lot of the parking lot was very awkward to get through to different rooms. My room was literally rotting. The cabinets next to the refrigerator and coffee maker were the delaminating 4 inches or more? I needed a accessible room because I have really bad arthritis and need to be able to sit to take a shower and I could not do this because of the condition of the seat in the shower. Look at the photos the seat itself was rotting because it was made of wood and vinyl and not sealed. It was probably at least 20 years old. Everything about the hotel was dated about 20 years old or older, including the rugs furniture and the out and out pungent smell. This was the second room that I had chosen because the first room I could not get indue to the parking and bringing my bag in there was literally no space. Pay extra stay somewhere else.
I've stayed here many, many times and have never been disappointed. (The VA uses this site for room vouchers for VA patients who qualify.) My last visit was purely for pleasure as the staff and volunteers a free meal to all veterans. I must say, "they outdid themselves as EVERYTHING was GREAT!!! My thanks go out to Sherrill for an outstanding job.
Clean and welcoming! Traveling solo for work, I arrived at 9a. I want into the lobby to ask for the WiFi so I could get on my computer for a bit and kill time till my room opened. By a miracle they had a room open and let me check in, even offered me to join in breakfast that am. I've worked in hotels almost a decade and this was above and beyond. Welcoming and friendly even tho rooms are typically not available to check in till afternoon (so please know this is a rarity, not an expectation).
Next I found that my room was so CLEAN. Not a hair, crumb, or a dust left unnoticed in a corner! I know how hard the housekeepers are working to make this possible! Wow. One of the most affordable options for my 3-day work visit, but also one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed at. Breakfast is hot and good. Nothing fancy but provides variety, nutrition, and coffee. If you don't care for it multiple days in a row there are a zillion restaurants and cafes to enjoy in town.
If you are looking for value. This is the definition. The furniture may be dated but the bedding is new and the rooms are clean. I had one "issue" they resolved immediately, the desk chair was sort of broken (stuck in the lowest position so it was comically short) and they replaced it right away! Great service!
I couldn't hear any noise coming from neighbors in other rooms either, even if a little street noise is perceived when the AC isn't running. A very nice place to stay for anyone on a budget!
Rooms are small but it would certainly have fit my whole family of 4.
Positive: The staff were very sweet and tried to be helpful. Negative: It was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in a long time. We woke up to an ant infestation. They got in all of our clothes, luggage, everything. We spent the morning of check out going through our clothes piece by piece and removing ants. Awful.
Super nice! Fantastic pool area! Close to the Biltmore and Billy Grahams Training Center! Super close to eateries and gasoline. Very nice rooms and super kind staff! A hidden gem tucked away in the mountains! Safe and well lit. Can’t say enough wonderful things about them! We will be back again! Thank you!
Enjoyed our two night stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff was friendly and efficient. The prices were very good compared to similar overnight accommodations nearby. Highly recommend.
Positive: Startled this hotel was not new, but rennovated long ago. If so, best renovation we've seen. Must have been complete overhaul. Point is, owners obviously take pride in this property. Best view. Negative: Yes. Take care to watch your step. Several places on uneven cement where I fell or caught myself. Unmarked drop-offs . And I'm a teaching tennis pro :)
Amazing hotel! Loved the history of the buildings, how they were integrated into the design of the hotel. Service was impeccable, champagne at check-in, heaters while waiting for valet, complimentary Tesla to take you downtown, and the Lounge has l

This place is so great. Everything from the indoor fireplace, to the hot tub just outside the bedroom, to the HEATED FLOORS in the bathroom (not to mention heated toilet seat and bidet, even a heated towel rack!) They take it a step (or twelve) furth
Great experience! From first reaching out with general questions, to a quick and easy process of getting signed in to classes. The owner was great with communication. I walked into the 4:30pm class with Coach Donivan and with three years experience m
My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay over the New Years holiday weekend. We very much appreciated the attention given to the suite and the magnificent breakfast presentation each morning.
Our hosts John and Susan were not only attentive but cordial
I was hesitant getting a spray tan because it had been years since I had one! Hannah made me feel very comfortable during the whole process and was a master at what she does. My tan turned out great and made me feel so amazing in family pics! She was
Canât believe I just found this hidden gem not far off of Thompson Street! One of the few coffee shops open at 7 am with a variety of coffee/espresso based drinks, hot cocoa bar, and breakfast tacos.
Got a dirty chai and egg/cheese burrito - both
