Great customer service at the front desk and in the morning in the breakfast room. Overall the hotel seems a bit dated but has that seaside logging town charm to it and there are lots of enlargements of logging and maritime historic photos in the lobby and breakfast room. The continental breakfast was decent and what you would expect from an economy lodge in a small Oregon town (just want to manage expectations). I was not terribly impressed with our room but was too tired to do anything about it. I couldn't tell if it was dirt or mold on the wall of our room next to one of the beds but again I was too tired to ask for a different room. Everything was clean though in the rest of the room and the bathroom. There's a microwave and small dorm size fridge for your drinks and leftovers which is convenient. We booked through USAA so I don't know if we got that room because of that but whatever, we slept well enough for the night.
The front desk staff was polite, but not friendly. The hot tub was out of service. The gym was a closet. The floor in our room was filthy. The laundry room had only one working washer and dryer. The courtyard for pets was nice. Had an issue and management responded professionally and in a timely manner.
Room was clean yet musty smell. Breakfast was help your self with a selection of cereals, toast, muffins, scrambled eggs, sausages and make your own waffles. There was a tv and a coffee machine in room. The staff were lovely and gave great food recommendations (Coach house).|Recommend stay for a perfect stop over.
Very nice place. We arrived after a long cross country flight and a 2 hr drive from Eugene and were greeted by a very friendly Brook. Our room was ready and we quickly settled in. The room was clean and quiet. Nice breakfasts with the usual hotel fare. Location was convenient to things to do in North Bend and Coos Bay. Would definitely stay here again.
*EDIT* Despite effectively scamming us into paying double for our room, the best they can manage to make it right is respond to this review with an empty "we'll think about it"... Classy. Read the fine print if you have pets! In the very last lines they sneak in a 45$ per night pet fee (PER PET!). With 2 dogs it doubled the expected $90~ we had to pay for one night to $180~. This practice is obviously meant to trap you once you arrive, as you can't cancel without paying the insane cancellation fee. Greasy, predatory business practice, and the operators should be ashamed. If you want to charge extra for pets, be up front about it. Don't hide it in the last lines of fine print when you know gosh darn well that anyone booking the specific pet friendly rooms is going to want to be aware of that before they make their reservation, and not show up to be blindsided. We would have saved $120 and had a better room if we stayed at the nearby Motel 6. I will never stay with this chain again. I will actively recommend the same to anyone thinking of staying with choice hotels.
We had a late arrival, and Brook was so welcoming. Unfortunately, the first room we were given below par. I went back to the front desk, and Brook so kindly took us to another room, allowed us to make sure the room was ok. Well, after looking around the room, we found things that were not acceptable. It was late. We were exhausted, and we literally just wanted to sleep. The next morning, we saw the quality of the room, and let's just say we were disappointed. Moldy bathroom, stains on walls, rust on lamps, baseboards with water damage and dirt. Not what we expected to find. I want to make sure to commend Brook for her above and beyond customer service. Also Jai(spelling?) was so kind and looked at my photos and told me she would pass the information on to her manager. Before I left the parking lot, we had a resolution. If your hotel was as good as the customer service, you would have the best hotel around.
Smelly, dirty and dated. This tired hotel needs love. The only plus was that the beds were comfy and bedding was clean. The bathroom vent was hanging by a zip tie. There was a cobweb swinging in the corner. Even breakfast wasn't edible as the waffle batter crisped but didn't cook through and we make waffles on the road often. Just nope.
I books a suite with a king in one room And 2 queens in the other. The room was freezing when we walked in so we turned on both heaters. They burned off the dust making the rooms smell terrible. When we all used the bathroom the toilet wouldn’t flush. We went to the lobby and Brook contacted a manager I assume and offered two double queen rooms next to each other since maintenance had already gone home. The rooms are slightly outdated but clean for the most part.door frames are a bit rough with cracks in doors in both rooms. Brook was very pleasant to work with in a situation she has no control over. But the building could use some upgrades to make it more inviting.

Amazing place! We've been going for years and the owner has always been pleasant. Coffee and smoothies are both very good! Highly reccomend this coffee spot!
Great food great service. Ordered the country fried steak, had great flavor and was very fresh. Gravy was exceptional as well. The hash browns were very thin and crisp. The one and only cook had a lot on his plate however. Cooking alone for 30+ peopl
Wildflour is the place you want to be. Fancy Food, in a laid-back, cozy atmosphere. The restaurant itself is stunning. The food is utterly spectacular, stellar! Plus, all their food is locally sourced, and they butcher their own cuts of beef, making
Love it! Great local spot for the entire family. Awesome food, full bar, and local beers on tap. Wood fired pizza is stellar. The new patio area is beautiful and cozy on any weather. They've got cornhole, giant connect four, fire pit. They have live
Enormous burrito! Super nice lady running the counter. Carnitas was good, big pieces of meat, no dry tiny pieces here. Shredded cabbage and tomato were a good texture and flavor combo. Red and green salsa were standard. But again the burrito was huge
