Bathroom disgusting. Black mold all around tub surround. Tub stained, toilet stained in bowl & underneath rim. Sink backed up. Advertise spa & after spending a day at a very emotional funeral, was really looking forward to relaxing in hot tub. Was told hot tub not working. Very loud place. Lots of banging around, could hear the people upstairs. Terrible night sleep. Was not going to eat breakfast there because figured if you can’t clean a bathroom you certainly can’t clean that area.

Great location. Good complementary breakfast. Great service. Hotel itself is in need of some tlc. Beds are great, but carpets are stained, the wall paper is peeling in places, and it’s a little dingy. However, given the price point, I would stay again.

We stayed two nights and had a great stay. We asked for a regular room with two beds. The clerk, a woman, gave us an extra large room for no extra charge. In addition to the two beds, it had a couch, two sinks, and lots of space. The room was clean and well kept. It was quiet. There was 24 hour coffee. Breakfast lasted until 10:00, not 9:00, which we appreciated. All the staff were friendly.

Our biggest ick was the bathtub. It was black under all of the ridges, the metal pole in the wall and around the overflow drain, shower head was gross and the tub had a slick grimy feeling I almost fell with my 4month old in my arms while taking a shower I had to clean it myself using a bar of soap so I could finish the shower. Also anyone who's there for the pool, it's right in the lobby the windows aren't tinted so you are 100% visible to everyone who's walking in or out. Pool seemed clean and is slightly heated, hot tub was closed. Otherwise, everyone working there seemed nice and breakfast was better then most hotels.

While trying to book with a AAA discount, we were hung up on three times. It was the only place with a room available. We asked for a smoke-free room, and the room smelled like cigarettes. The hot tub was out of service, which is fine, but they only had caution tape around the railing to get in, and it was completely drained. We had to be really careful not to fall into it. The breakfast was cold, and there was no salt or pepper. We asked for it, but the service person there "couldn't find it."

Positive: The smell of the lobby, but as soon as you turn the corner to your room- it?s smells like someone definitely died there. Negative: There wasn?t much to like- the owners of the hotel gave us a room with blood all over the mattress and a door that didn?t lock and was off the hinges. When we brought it to there attention- they said they knew about it, but we didn?t complain soon enough.

Overall I was pleased with this hotel. Nice to find a place with a pool, hot tub and free breakfast that's somewhat recently updated for under a $80 a night (weekday "non peak" anyway). One thing that bothered me was the smell, kind of a dank dusty smell all around...could be the wall mounted heater/AC as there was lots of dust and debris on the in take filter as well as where it blows air from. So clean those up please and keep people from smoking of course.

Place was filthy like the cleaner forgot to clean it b4 we got the room . Found lighters and paraphernalia in the room and bugs and gross filth everywhere. I feel bad though because the people working there were very nice and helpful.
