Quality Inn & Suites - Hotel in Harrington - 1259 Corn Crib Rd, USA

I’m giving 3 stars because I stayed at a cheaper low end hotel on the way into town and it was so much cleaner than this one. For the price I paid, I had higher expectations compared to the lower end one that I stayed in for a rest on my road trip. The reviews that mentioned the bathrooms were accurate. It was kind of gross. The tray that holds the ice bucket was gross. The aesthetic of it was nice. It looked nice. The pool was gross on our first night but then noticed the second night it had a heavy chemical smell to it. The staff wasn’t overly friendly but they weren’t rude. The breakfast was pretty good (minus the eggs). It was a nice setup. It did smell like weed pretty badly in the halls.. I had to sign “house rules” saying I wouldn’t smoke but I guess weed doesn’t count 🤦‍♀️. Overall, it wasn’t bad. That’s just my observations of the hotel. I’d definitely stay again.. maybe next time use a booking site instead of paying directly.. that was my mistake.

The rooms were comfortable. Could have been a little bit cleaner... (For example, all of the windows seemed to have a layer of "film" on them...). The pool was interesting. Signs posted said that the spa was undergoing maintenance, but no spa was in sight. No towels were provided by the pool. If you asked the front desk, they would give you some, though...

All I can say is wow. Not in a good way. It was horrendous if I could give zero stars I would The rooms were not properly cleaned the toilet was not even properly mounted into the floor and rocked when you tried to sit on it The shower knobs were broken and the rooms were just all around yucky I'm glad I brought my Clorox wipes with me so I could wipe everything down I couldn't wait to get out of there. they offer free breakfast that I wouldn't feed my dog.It looked like someone made it 8 hours ago in a microwave Don't let the pictures deceive you The pictures look like it's not bad but it is beware

Very mediocre as far as hotels go, but I think that's what they're going for with the pricing. If you do book a hotel room far enough in advance they will just cancel your booking and give you a bullshit reason, which is very shady. In addition, they don't seem to care enough to replace all the linens, leaving us with a dirty bed to come back to on the 4th day of our stay (which was one day later than the signage in their room indicates). The location is garbage as far as destinations go but if you want a quiet place with nothing nearby to go to then I guess it's fine. Overall I wouldn't stay here again if I could help it.

Room had no upper lock. To lock door. The bathroom was disgusting. Room looks like something out of a 70s movie. And the air conditioning unit filters needed cleaned out. I woke up could barely breath and sore throat from the smell being so musty from the AC unit. Would never have paid $333 for a hotel room like this. But they were one of the only games in town. So I paid alot for convenience. But definitely not quality. Would not recommend. They wouldn’t even discount my room slightly for this hot mess. Have stayed at 5 star hotels that didn’t cost what this place cost. And I’m happy to pay for a room. Just wanted a small discount for the appearance and safety of the room. Not willing to work with me at all. Hotel goer. Beware.

Clean room, close to fairgrounds, and friendly staff. Not fancy, but a good place to crash after a full day at the fairgrounds. Minimal breakfast area, but they had one. Found the coffee in the main lounge had creamer, that was good.

This place is ridiculous, I called 5 minutes after making the reservation to cancel due to an updated flight schedule from the airlines. They mentioned that the manager is not here and won't be back until the next day. I called again and they gave me the same story. How can you charge someone who doesn't even appear at your hotel. Not even worth one star for the scam they pulled..

01 May 2024 This Quality Inn is definitely locked-on! I stayed at the Harrington, DE, location from 24-30 April and it was exactly what I needed. It’s convenient to everything: Gas stations, post office, restaurants, Dunkin Donuts (coffee), a Walmart, and a casino (or two) if that’s your thing. It’s quiet and well-maintained. The best part is the staff though (no kidding). I left a $150 T-Mobile JetStream behind in my room and the cleaning staff turned it in! They could’ve easily told me they had no idea what I was talking about and kept it, but they were honest and told me that they found it. To me, that’s a huuuge deal! I’m used to people being dishonest, but that’s not how the staff at this Quality Inn is. Thanks to them, I’ll be getting my JetStream back in a few days. I had a good stay here: The rooms were nice, the shower was sufficient, the TV had more than fifteen channels, and breakfast was served daily. The beds were comfortable and the maid staff came by every day and didn’t touch my personal belongings. I can’t recommend this Quality Inn location enough. The price is right and the entire staff was helpful and pleasant. Great job, Jay and Quality Inn of Harrington, DE. ~AlCaLu
