Myself and two colleagues were in town on business. We had to stay an extra day so we had to book this last minute. We pulled into the lot and there was a guy in a pickup truck with his arm out the window smoking a huge blunt. That should have been our first clue. But beggars can’t be choosy so we went ahead. ||The rooms were terrible. I wouldn’t even put my bag down on the bed. The smell of marijuana was over powering. I looked outside and a guy and girl were partying downstairs below my room. Then there was the guy walking around wearing only shorts and he had an ankle monitor on. ||We lasted one hour. Didn’t even try to get our money back. Left and drove to Columbia and got a nice hotel. ||The pictures on the site are completely false advertising. Maybe they were taken 50 years ago. I can’t believe this even got 3.5 rating. If I could give zero stars I would. Nothing about this hotel was clean or nice. I didn’t not feel safe here.

If I could give this place 0 stars I really would. We booked our room a month in advance along with our friends, each a king bed room. The hotel called us 6 hours into our trip to indicate our room now wasn't available & offered us a double bed. We were given an upgrade while our friends were downgraded. Our "upgraded" room was clearly newly constructed. The bathroom ceiling was bubbling down, not flush to the sprinklers with the vent not functioning. The room itself was damp and missing the safe. The door to the room was not sealed- you could see outside, so was always warm due to the outside air seeping in. Our friends attempted to contact the manager Friday & Saturday due to being charged the same price for a downgrade. Manager wasn't in any of the times they went & did not contact them even though they left their contact info multiple times. When they were finally able to contact the manager he SCREAMED at them, told them they weren't getting anything because all rooms cost the same & that he "has a business to run" before HANGING UP on them. My advice: spend the extra money and stay at Holiday Inn across the street or legit ANYWHERE ELSE because this place has horrendous customer service and you will just be screwed out of our room.

If I can give it 0 I would , but upon arrival our room was ok the fridge still had someone’s left over ice creams in there , the water pressure sucks , the lady in the front never smiles always looked like she had an attitude, the pool was supposedly close which I find odd. And in the last day they finally open the pool and because my kids kept going in the lobby to use the bathroom , the lady put that the bathroom was out of order I felt like it was discrimination because we were black, all she had to say is the bathroom is wet because coming in from the pool but instead she put out of order but it wasn’t , like they was not friendly , I’ll never book it again especially with kids the rooms are very suspicious. And breakfast was nasty , I’ll go where they are friendly and more welcoming and wouldn’t make myself or my family feel uncomfortable.

Called the hotel on 6.23.24 @ 5:30 pm, and had the displeasure of speaking with a woman named Nicky...We are trying to book a stay for family and when trying to get details we were met with snappish quid responses. How unfortunate, considering we were attempting to book quite a few rooms for the 4th of July weekend. Quality INN...please do better with your staff. You lost the opportunity for quite a bit of money due to poor customer service. We are now willing to pay hundreds of dollars more, just to ensure our family is met with good customer service. Avoid this place at all costs- I wish I could rate it lower than 1 star! I booked my room a month before my trip. I had booked a king room. Day of our trip and I call in the morning asking about their early check in policy- I was told at this time that there was a king room clean and we could come check in when we wanted to. I said I would call back once I knew what time we’d be checking in. Three hours later, they call me saying they sold out of all of their king rooms and they’d be moving myself and my husband into a double queen room- I didn’t have much of a choice but to accept as we’d been up over 24 hours, had driven 10+ hours over night and Choice Hotels does not offer refunds so we’d be out $300, alongside having other family and friends booked at this hotel for the stay. We ended up checking in maybe 20 minutes before normal check in time. The room had water damage in the bathroom, next to no water pressure in the shower, and cigarette burns in the sheets on one of the beds. The next morning (around 8am) we asked the woman at the front desk to speak with the manager. She said he would be in in the afternoon. At 5pm we came back- because if he came in in the afternoon he should be there, right? She said that he has already left for the day and took down our information so he could reach out to us when he’s in on Monday- which was the morning we were checking out. On Monday, we checked out and asked again what time he’d be in, verified that they had our information and the girl at the front desk said he would call us when he’s in, but that he’s very busy. And that they accept walk ins, so they can’t always guarantee you’ll get your room. Never got a call Monday. So Tuesday I call and finally got a hold of him- prior to him answering the phone I could hear them talking about me and how “I got a double room so what’s the problem?” When he answers I explain how I’m unhappy that we booked a room in advance, it was available in the morning and then sold before we got there, being told they will give the rooms to walk ins (what’s the point of even booking a room then???). He tried telling me that we didn’t start complaining about the situation until check out and that we stayed three nights with “no problem” when we could have just gone to another hotel. I restated that we had asked to speak with him multiple times throughout our stay and left our information with two different front desk employees between Friday and Monday. He then proceeded to scream at me over the phone, yelling about how he has a business to run and I should have just checked out and stayed somewhere else. When I said that wasn’t an option because they do not provide refunds, as well as saying they sold our other friends rooms as well, he continued to yell and scream at me over the phone and then hung up on me. Take your time and money elsewhere, this place is run like a joke, the rooms are clean but in poor shape and the staff is full of people who don’t care about the people who stay there.

7:30 PM smoking outside the front of my door. I asked them if they could move it on down the way where the receptacle was for cigarettes and they were like no we’re not smoking in our room says no smoking anywhere on the premises room for no smoking which they’re smoking their butts off and they’re smoking in their room. I called Judy, I thought she was very helpful. She gave me Discount my room which cost me $97. I told her about the smoking and she really didn’t care. I asked for another room. She said they were all booked. I spoke to the people beside me. They didn’t and now they’re even louder than when I when I got here it’s like they’re yelling. There’s kid running up and down the hallway screaming playing. I guess room is giving me heebie-jeebies from the cigarette smoke. I have a heart condition and a pacemaker and I let Judy know that she didn’t care. I asked for my money back. She said it was too late in the game, she would call her supervisor. She said she couldn’t do that but check with her in the morning. Well I want to go now I am gonna leave and I’m gonna sleep in my car because I’ve already paid my money already paid my money and I can’t go and pay another one so I’m gonna have to go and park somewhere and sleep in the car. I never heard such a thing. I thought Lexington county would be class but that’s not staying here and they’re loud and they’re drinking and drinking out on that porch or whatever you wanna call it so now 8:21 PM and I went to get some air freshener but it’s not helping so I suppose I’m gonna go ahead and get my receipt and get the hell out of here. Very disappointed. I will tell all my friends and I have a lot of friends, especially attorneys that live here in Lexington . It may not be tomorrow, but I will get my money back. I didn’t even use my blankets. I just use the shoot because my blanket felt dirty. There’s a bad storm going on outside, but I’d rather sleep in my car. Hope I don’t get bedbugs or anything. Nasty nasty here. Shame on this management. Shame on them. Unfortunately, I have to put down good notes in order to post my bad notes. They’re not worthy of my one star other than Miss Judy being nice when I first arrived, that’s it. Sh e turned on me.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Despite booking our room a month in advance, they gave it away without any regard for our reservation or their own policy about holding your room until 7AM the day following your reservation. Throughout our stay, we attempted to reach the manager to address our concerns, but he was nowhere to be found for four straight days, no staff could get ahold of him if they even tried. We even left our contact information, but received no response whatsoever. After returning home, we decided to contact the hotel ourselves since they hadn't bothered to reach out. To our dismay, the manager's response was shockingly hostile and defensive. He proceeded to YELL at my wife when we tried to discuss the issues we had encountered. His dismissive attitude culminated in him abruptly hanging up on us, declaring he didn't have time for our concerns. Such appalling behavior from the manager is utterly unacceptable in the hospitality industry. This establishment not only failed to provide adequate service but also demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism. It's clear that this hotel has no place in the business, and I strongly advise against anyone considering staying there.
