The hotel itself needs major updates as the rooms are old and outdated. The smell in the hallways were horrible. People were outside of the doorway to the hotel smoking marijuana, and I could smell cigarette smoke on the third floor. The beds were not comfortable at all. The toilet made a running noise all night long, just a horrible experience overall. I personally will not be returning or recommending this hotel to anyone. I took a picture of the top to the air conditioner cover since it was on the floor when we entered the room. I didn’t want to get blamed for breaking it. Was told it wasn’t broken, and it goes right back in place. Then if that was the case the cleaning crew should not have left it on the floor. I wasn’t touching it because I didn’t want any incidental fees charged to my account.

If you don’t like sleeping alone this is the place for you! Plenty of roaches to cuddle with you in bed. ***Update*** Was promised a refund as i immediately left after opening the door. Never got my refund and called, was told by front desk (who was rude and no help) that a refund can only be given by the owner. Still no refund 3 weeks later. I will be contacting the Lake County health department and choice hotels.

Where do I start, hotel is absolutely disgusting. The pool was literally green. The hot tub was so gross as well. The carpet was wet when we came in. Fred (worker) is a complete jerk. He was arguing with me about wanting more towels for our room. Not to mention I went out to get some breakfast and I heard him yelling at a customer and being racist. These people that either owned the hotel or worked there would follow my boyfriend and I around and stare at us while we were cooking food outside on our little grill everyday (4 days).. There is a TON of homeless people around so be careful and lock your doors we saw a lot of people looking into different cars. The microwave had a print of a centipede on it. The sheets had either burn holes or bugs ate through it. I was so itchy every time I woke up I had to take a shower and the showers are so gross I wore flip flops. The breakfast was disgusting. Had no milk for the cereal.. no fruits.. nothing good. Don’t stay here what so ever

So let me start by my first impression when I walked into the hotel, before I even talked to anybody I noticed the floors going through the lobby into the dining area looked extremely filthy like they don't have any cleaning or maintenance people that will clean the floors as they get dirty, to prevent bad first impressions. The other is I have a disability which prevents me from walking too far. When I asked for a cart to bring in my numerous bags and camera and radio equipment I have in my vehicle that I use for work, which has to be brought inside, they don't have any carts not one in the hotel to be used to bring bags up to your room. I had to make five trips from the first from the parking area to my room on the third floor and I'm still not finished. You would think the front desk would offer me to help with my bags but they didn't even offer any assistance. If I would have known this ahead of time I would have not booked this hotel. I travel every day for 3 or 4 weeks at a time I returned home for a few days and then I come back again. This is the first hotel in my lifetime of traveling for work that did not have a cart he said they had one but had flat tires. And I don't I want to come across as hateful or bigoted to any nationality but I travel around enough to know when I stay in a corporate Hotel I never have any issues. When I stay in one owned by an Indian company they cut corners on everything. The only thing with is not spending any money. They do not even give a second thought about what guests actually want or need. I hate saying it but it's true. I used to stay at many hotels that were corporate owned and as soon as they started getting bought by owners from India things start going downhill. I wish it wasn't true because I like many of the Indian people but these Hotel owners create a stereotype. Once they take over out goes any type of quality or customer service and incomes the bare minimum needed to function. I just checked in I have not been to the pool but I did ask if they had a working jacuzzi and they said they did on the phone but we'll see. I've been lied to before and then I show up and it's out of order or filthy where it only halfway works, such as, the water is warm but there are no Jets. Update into the first night at this hotel I realize the the pool water and the jacuzzi look bad. Very cloudy. I got in it felt nasty so I went and took a shower. I also noticed that my coffee maker with coffee pods but no coffee cups in the room. How thoughtless they art this establishment. I wish I didn't book two nights I'd rather change hotels on the second night

I wish the stay had not been paid in advance because I would have checked out immediately. My experience was this: 1) there was no latch on the hotel door- a safety factor, right?, 2) the bathroom tub was stained, the floor needed to be mopped, there was no towel bar (although you could see where it was in the past and the exhaust in the ceiling was not there - just an open and nasty hole, towels were not readily available; 3) no placard in the room requesting "do not disturb"; 4) the refrigerator freezer worked in overtime - freezing water and medication; 5) the bed was somewhat comfortable but I was not comfortable knowing you can read through the thin sheets and stained, as well as the bedspread! 6) silverfish (bugs) were on the wall. On a positive note: the air conditioner worked fine. I will not claim to be your guest ever again in this brand, Quality Inn - I found no quality in this brand and would highly recommend others to stay away!

If you don't want to read the rest, in essence, stay far away. We were welcomed to a whiff of extremely bad weed as we entered the building. The hallways did not smell any better, and they put everybody staying there in rooms next to each other, so you can hear the other guests all night long. As we entered the room, the stench of mold slaps you across the face. After you quickly come to, the lovely cockroaches are there to say hi. The bed spreads were not washed as they had fresh stains. They won't replace them, just take them to wash....and they were never returned. The room has air conditioning, however, you can't actually control it. The bathroom had holes in the wall and the non-working vent hanging from the ceiling.|The pool has zero filtration system and the water is very dirty. The hot tub was missing many tiles and had an exposed hole on the side. You then have people who hang outside of the hotel 24/7 smoking and yelling. Drunks are constantly racing through the parking lot, and smashed into my car.|The breakfast was edible, and that might be the only decent part of this trip. I regret taking my family here. It is dirty and unsafe.

Where to start? Although they have made an effort to modernize this hotel, it's still dirty and dingy with damage, just painted over (think landlord special). It was clear that they didn't care about the upkeep of this place. Our 2 night stay here was miserable. Our room was "clean" but falling apart. The bathroom door had a hole in it, the a/c barely worked, edges of broken furniture were held together with clear tape, even the battery cover of the remote was missing. Something was wrong with the micro-fridge because everything we put in it froze. It was very hard to sleep due to the awful lumpy mattresses and the heat. The free breakfast was abysmal. The juice machine didn't work. The options were waffles (surprised it even worked), toast, cereal, fruit, and hard as a rock biscuits with gravy. Please save your money and go somewhere else. We will stay clear of this place next time we are in the area.

Cockroaches 🪳 Service was fine but roaches in the room. There are several other hotels right next to this one. Choose one of the other hotels unless you wish to train some cool cockroaches to do taxes or whatever they are good at. Carpets were also dirty with various slimy / sticky substances. If you collect mysterious substances and analyze them this is a good spot to harvest them.

We stay here every year at Christmas and the service is excellent. The manager, Hugh, was great. He managed to get us an upgrade which was super given the length of our stay. The breakfast was on par and we look forward to next year.

Amazing selection of high quality candy. Staff is friendly and helpful while being quick to serve people. The store is bright and clean. The location is pretty easy to get to but getting back out of the parking lot on busy days can be difficult.
