I noticed this Quality Inn has an incredible location (close to downtown Ocean Springs, the beach, and a beautiful bayou across the street with a swanky seafood restaurant). The pictures of the hotel on google were also nice (hardwood floors, fresh renovations, etc...). It almost seemed too good to be true for a hotel so dang affordable, but it is even better than I imagined! The refrigerator is larger than a standard mini-fridge, the bed is super comfy, the room is spacious, the AC hits just right... you get the point. AND they serve a continental breakfast! I have stayed at hotels 3x the price in this area that are not as nice as this one. This truly is a QUALITY hotel at a budget price! Harry (I presume the hotel manager and/or owner) checked me in and is super kind too. If I could rate this place more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you all the kind staff who make this hotel feel so nice, clean and comfortable. Quality Inn, Ocean Springs is where it is at!

I had checked in and went up to the room (nonsmoking room), went to the bathroom and there was like smoke or something else dripping from the walls, behind the door was not cleaned, and there was random dirty noticeable handprints on the bathroom door frame and walls in the room. I went down to see if I could get a different room, the front desk person asked me to send her the pictures of what the room looked like so they can show the owner. Well it was my mistake for not checking the second room before going eat dinner. I went to the bathroom again and once again behind the door the bathroom was not clean. Looked at the pillows there were stains all over the pillow cases and at this point did not feel comfortable sleeping there. I went back to the front desk and checked out, they asked me to send the pictures again and so I did but as you can see the pictures did not go through so therefor the owner will not see the second set of pictures

Freshly painted with newer furniture but it's all cosmetic. Shower still leaks, the stairs have rust holes, broken toilet seats (I asked for my loose toilet seat to be fixed but 3 days later still not fixed), and temperamental mini fridges who randomly freeze or not. The staff doesn't communicate with each other (one staff told me I need to change rooms midway through my multi day stay, while manager says no need to change for my convenience and can stay in my lower end room despite paying for a king room with no compensation...). Breakfast is available but nothing special to talk about (cold cereal, yogurt, coffee and juice, toast and motel waffles; and no proteins at all (eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy)). Location on the 90 is nice, and within walking distance of a few restaurants (if you want to walk on the side of the highway where there's no sidewalk).

What a surprise! This place is all remodeled, new and clean! Room is small but has everything you need, lots of added plug-ins. I used the washer and dryer and they were also new. The desk personnel was nice. There is a train that runs right behind.

Bring electrical tape. Too many light sources there are blue led lights on the outlets on the nightstands. They don't indicate anything and just add light. There are cameras along the walkways but it is not clear that the parking lot has cameras. This is an area susceptible to catalytic converter theft. Other than that it's a solid hotel in a good location.

Clean room. Very nice. Lovely staff! I didn't pay attention to the free breakfast closing time and walked in a little late. The lady offered me milk for cereal and let me get breakfast anyway. Didn't act bothered at all. Super sweet. 10/10 would Quality Inn again here!

I stayed at this property now I had a few issues but my main issue is that hair was all in my room in my bed, in the bath tub, floor and all on the sink areas. I asked the hotel what they was going to do and the front counter manager well atleast that’s what he called himself he did nothing but offered me 1,000 points. Now I see why this property has a 3.8 star rating. And if the guy I encountered this morning is what represents this hotel management team then this hotel has an even more bigger and serious problem that what I see. A real manager goes above and beyond to solve problems when they arise this situation should have been handled in a better manner than the resolution that I received .

This was a doozy! I am a local and typically stay at the Wyndham north of the interstate. I thought I would try something different. Let me start with moderate positive attributes; upon arrival the place was clean and inviting, lady at front desk (blonde curly hair with glasses) she was so very sweet and deserves a promotion! I had requested a smoking room by accident so I double booked with a non-smoking, after arriving she said she could not see a booking for non-smoking. Turns out there was a booking through Expedia and I was almost double charged (with cancelation fees), my advice is to order rooms through Expedia DO NOT DEAL with this owner directly (note: the owner is NOT blonde hair, the blonde hair lady is a doll face, AMAZING lady!) . They do not have any hospitality and quiet frankly own the establishment for selfish greed, from what I can tell, it is someone that came to America and opened a franchise business without applying any true Southern Hospitality-- it is unfortune. For the bad (if that wasn't enough), I walked down for breakfast two mornings in a row, nothing impressive, grabbed a mushy apple and Walmart brand peach yogurt from the fridge. Morning number two there was nothing available-- just waffle maker with some cold cereal and toast. Seems like they may be cutting some costs here. I asked the lady working (while she was sitting in the guest breakfast lounge eating her breakfast) if there were any lids for coffee, she said "you don't look!" and I responded ma'am there are no lids, would there be any somewhere else? The lady literally IGNORED ME! I walked away and said "have a wonderful day!". Turns out I am traveling to New Orleans for a work meeting and realized the check out for 11am would not work with my round trip, so I called (same lady from breakfast) and requested an hour extension and explained my situation. She sat there and ARGUED with me about how housekeeping works. Lied to me about booked rooms and said "we charge $35 early check in and you are using up a room, I bet you didn't know that did you!!". I don't typically indulge in small minded conversation so I hung up and called Expedia, they quickly called and resolved the issue. Online says they have MANY rooms available for this week; even discounted from what I paid, which obviously means they are begging for business. I do not care you have other customers coming in to stay, I AM A PAYING customer but you took my money and got what you wanted. Then you did not continue to share any kind gestures towards me. I am sorry but you came here to run a business; maybe take some business management classes to acquire knowledge how America continues to succeed. It is NOT based off being pushy and greedy, those people fail. Good luck. You lost a paying customer and I will be sharing my experience with all my out of town friends. Oh I was too embarrassed to even share this but there were German roaches crawling around by day two. I also spilt hot coffee all over cup holder due to no lid issue. If it wasn't for the sweet Blonde lady this establishment would have received 1 star. I never seek out vengeful fueled reviews but man, this place really got to me. Back to Wyndham I go! Have a wonderful day!!
