Quaker Steak & Lube - Restaurant in York - 1411 Kenneth Rd, USA

Thank to the everyone Quaker Steak & Lube in York, PA!! We had a rather large party (11 people) getting together to celebrate a birthday party. We meet at other establishment and were informed that they could not seat all of us together. Now most people who are celebrating as a group prefer to sit together so we decided to take our party on down the road to Quaker State. It turned to be the best decision of the night! We were promptly seated as a group and welcomed by our server Cedric and other members of the staff. The food and drinks were good. The service was great. The staff even joined together to surprise the birthday boy with a great sing along happy birthday rendition and present him with his free dessert. So an evening that started off as a bad experience was saved by the folks at Quaker Steak & Lube. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great time. So hats off to the staff for saving the day and letting us have the birthday celebration we were looking forward too.

Never knew this place existed until my brother in law suggested it. Food is awesome and my ribs were fall off the bone! A mix of smokey flavor with sweetness somewhere in between. Service was a 6 out of 5 if I could! The atmosphere is really cool and is truly a one of a kind experience. Highly recommend to anyone of any age that's looking for a good not to pricy bite to eat and enjoy the game. I want to shout out our waitress Lauren who really went the extra mile to accommodate our larger party with small children. She was always on it when it came to refills for the kids or wet naps to clean up. Definitely harder to find a place that offers a great experience with the added friendly service.

Food was absolutely amazing! love the wings! BUT WE WERE SEATED IN THE GARAGE AND IT WAS FREEZING. Our server was so completely rude. we accidentally spilled a drink she didn’t offer us extra napkins. she was sassy and we asked for some more drink when she got back and she said rudely i already said i would. she was just grumpy and not one bit friendly.

We have previously been happy with our experience at QSL York, PA but last night was disappointing. The food was good but the service was terrible. Being a server can be difficult and everyone has a bad day now and then but the entire staff, with exception of the friendly hostess, seemed disinterested. Our waitress was not attentive enough; 2 drinks sat empty for an extended period of time, she disappeared for long periods of time and when she emerged she was talking on her phone. When on the floor she was literally hanging on the hostess station, her back to the restaurant with her head on her arms. Another time she was practically sitting on a ledge near the door. Towards the end of our meal she delivered the check without asking if we needed refills, would like dessert, etc. (we enjoyed dessert elsewhere btw) It was not near closing time nor were other customers waiting for our table. Maybe end of her shift?? Several employees could be seen on their phones, sitting at empty tables (ok if on break but did not appear to be the case), chatting in small groups with one another, and seeming generally disinterested in their job and duties. It was not crowded in the restaurant but there were patrons scattered about (at least 4 parties of 4 or more) and several customers at the bar. Sadly, our experience last evening was underwhelming. I hope the level of attentiveness, friendliness, interest and customer service is addressed. Standing back observing tables while chatting with coworkers is acceptable in my opinion when not busy but when we can't find our server for drink refills and can't get anyone else to assist despite them leaning on the hostess station, that's poor service. On a positive note, the hostess that greeted us at the door was friendly, efficient and met our request of a table over a booth. Some of her fellow coworkers could learn from her pleasant demeanor.

QSL is one of the better wing places in the York area. Great line up of sauces/rubs, good varied menu for non-wing enthusiasts, great service and a great atmosphere. I’ve tried their competitors and have not been impressed.

Stopped for lunch on a Friday. Sat at bar. Don't usually do chains, but was very good. Service was good. Food was really good. They also had GF hamburger buns. No complaints.

Food was decent, but $10.50 for a can of high noon is just ridiculous. They don’t advertise their prices of drinks so I was floored when I got my bill. Come on. That’s the price of a nice cocktail, not a canned beverage.

Excellent wings and fried pickles. Our server was fantastic. Decor is great, super cool. Eat under a C3 vetted or a Harley. Wings again were top notch. Gripes/items that kept them from 5 stars; iced tea had no flavor, dessert selection was lacking and not thought out. Moreover, they only have plastic chairs for seating at low table height, which to me, is one large person like myself away from a lawsuit.
