Quail Lake - Lake in Colorado Springs - , USA

I love this lake! It has a great little trail to walk, a small playground, and calm waters for paddle boarding. It does get very busy, though, and you have to really watch for the fishing lines. The picnic benches aren't in great shape, but there are plenty of shaded, grassy spots for a blanket picnic.

We've been to cross country races here and we came here to take prom photos. It's super beautiful in the fall and it's got a great trail all the way around the lake to walk or bike.

Awesome little lake close to home, great for a good row. First time catching a trout here, was a chunker. On the video, large bird swooped down and grabbed a fish. Was pretty fun to watch.

I have a lot of happy memories from this place... one of my favorite "dates" was here... great place to paddle board. Buddy loves to get the sticks. Great place to paddle board. Day fishing or night fishing. Or just come String up a hammock and watch the moon on the water... #schonmeier

Great place to go enjoy nature! But lots of people are inconsiderate! One man let his dog poop 2 inches from my tackle box!! Which I saw as I was returning from the Porta pot! People fighting, smoking weed!! You have to go really early to enjoy!

This is a really nice lake to fish, picnic, hike, and kayak. Sometimes, it's tough to find a parking spot, so go early. This is my go-to fishing lake.

It’s a nice place for a quick paddleboard. It’s not super deep or super clean like an alpine lake but it’s nice and quiet (away from the road) and right in town. You do have to be careful of fishing lines if you’re close to the shore. Bring $5 cash for the non-motorized boat permit! The envelopes are in the box on the side of the brown post.
