the hostel itself is lovely! it’s just a shame that lots of the staff are rude and unhelpful. i genuinely have never had a problem with hostel staff, and it’s a shame that the ones working here are clearly not invested. also very noisy at night with the subway nearby. i would recommend looking for another hostel to spend the night and give your money and time to!

If you do plan to sleep here for the night. For me it was definitely worth every penny. I stayed Thursday night June 6. The bunk beds are nice and clean, bathroom clean, you get your own locker and amazing dinning room kitchen. They give you a towel and a bed sheet. Bed sheet was ok. This area has everything, a lot of markets and food options around the area. You can hear the trains but barely. Worth my money for an affordable price.

The location was convenient and the prices were lower than other hostels; but the bathrooms were so dirty and unsanitary that unless they take this feedback and start cleaning them properly, I do NOT recommend anybody stay here for health and safety reasons. The showers were covered in scum and really awful mold, and there are no excuses except for that they are not cleaning them at ALL. Staff was also rude and treated me like a burden when I asked them for toilet paper and help with my keycard stopped working. Please do better.

This is a hostel. |Good accommodations and good company. I’ve stayed twice. Once in a 4 bed female dorm. |And this time in a 6 bed female dorm. Everyone was respectful of each other not making noise or turning on lights etc. Jennifer at check in is great. Location is super convenient to buses and the subway. There is a lot of subway noise.

This is the best hostel in the NYC area. I prefer this place over any others in LIC as well as upper Manhattan. I call this a "home away from home" as not only the front desk, housekeeping, but the other guests make you feel warm and special. Rooms cleaned everyday. Love the 4-bed male only rooms. They are quite comfy.

My recent stay at Q4 hotel and hostel had its ups and downs. On the positive side, the hotel boasts a prime location, and the staff were notably friendly and accommodating. However, the overall experience was marred by several drawbacks. Firstly, the cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired; they were semi-dirty upon arrival. The bathroom was disappointingly tiny, and the absence of shampoo or body wash was an inconvenience. Additionally, the noise levels were intolerable. Despite the window, the constant passing trains nearby made it difficult to get a good night’s rest. Moreover, the bed was uncomfortably hard, and the lack of storage space for clothes was inconvenient. The thin walls made it impossible to escape the sounds of other guests, contributing to a less-than-ideal environment. Furthermore, the presence of sketchy individuals in the vicinity added an unsettling element to the stay. In conclusion, while the hotel has its merits, including a great location and friendly staff, the overall experience was overshadowed by cleanliness issues, noise disturbances, uncomfortable bedding, and lack of amenities. Improvement in these areas would significantly enhance the guest experience.

Pretty good hostel! A little noisy with the trains but if you bring earplugs it’s alright. Bathroom could’ve been cleaned better. And they only give you one towel to use (I stayed 4 days) which I found frustrating. Nonetheless, cheap and good location to take the train downtown/uptown NYC.

Really nice experience staying here despite it being for only one night. Very clean, eclectic building, full kitchen, and overall good vibe. Plenty of opportunities to socialize with other guests in the common room, complete w/ pool table, etc, but also keep to yourself if you're staying there while on business and you need to get work done. Overall, a very nice experience, and I'll gladly stay there again if I'm ever in LIC again.
