What can you say bad about ice cream. Nothing!! Great place to stop and enjoy some treats. I will say they should put all ice cream in the bigger bowls so that you can put some toppings on the ice cream. Those small bowls makes it nearly impossible. We actually asked to change my daughters sherbet to a bigger bowl. I get you want to limit but you can’t put much more in the bigger bowls anyway but it definitely makes it easier to eat. Just a thought. Can’t beat the candy store either. I love seeing and getting candy of my childhood and having memories while I eat it!!

You have to take a ride to Putnam Pantry way up on Route one in Danvers, MA. Several varieties of Ice cream to choose from along with a sweet sundae bar of toppings to complement your selection.
They still have the candy store ...that offers everyone's favorites: fudge, gummies, peanut butter cups and on and on...eat inside or sit outside on the patio...it's worth the trip, a great value and a nice place to make some memories or just take a walk down memory lane. 👍😊 Enjoy!
This was a cool spot for ice cream. To be honest it doesn’t look like an ice cream place from the outside or when you walk as your basically looking at a lot of candy & other treats. It was my first time here & I actually enjoyed it. Lots of options to choose from whether your having a birthday party or just a small get together this place has a lot of options. The ice cream bar was great as you get to pick your own toppings without having to have someone give you an exact portion. Overall service was great & friendly & the outdoor patio as well was nice.
Putnam pantry has always been a favorite pf mine since I was a kid and now I take My kids and they love it. The smorgasbord of toppings is always a FUN MESS and delicious. But becareful leaving cause the kids will want the candy! The old fashioned type candy section is great.
Ordered a sandwich to go as I have done many times before. It was very frustrating waiting for someone, anyone to grab the bag sitting right there ready to go and pads the orders out. They're was actually 3 of us waiting for the 3 bags. What made it frustrating was watching the girl tag candy within a foot and not pass the orders. They were all paid for. It was not until i asked.... over 15 minutes of this. And no, the cold sandwich that should have been warm was not good. Waste of time.
My good friend had her baby shower here, and we relished in the best ice cream bar! It's fun to build your own sundae - so many toppings! Putnam Pantry is a classic for all your ice cream and candy needs.

The preschool and summer camp are amazing. All of the staff there is great! Both of my kids attended each program. The preschool includes swimming lessons which I loved.
