Pursell Farms - Golf course in Sylacauga - 386 Talladega Springs Rd, USA

We loved our stay at Pursell Farms and have already been trying to find a date to return! We enjoyed everything about our stay. The food was delicious. The staff was incredibly kind. The grounds and property are immaculate, and it is evident that every detail is intentional and well thought through. My 6 year old son loved going horseback riding, and it was the icing on the cake for us. We will be back!

The entire staff is wonderful. From the moment we first got there and a family was so kind to us in the lobby and we found out later it was some of the Pursell Family attending their Christmas dinner at the Arrington. They seemed to be amazing people, very friendly and appreciative of our stay. ||The rooms are very roomy and comfortable. It was difficult to get out of the bed in the morning. SO COMFORTABLE! || If you go to the pub, ask for Keith! He is an excellent bartender (The best Long Islands) and we instantly felt like family with his welcoming hospitality and kindness. The food is AMAZING at the Pub! You must try the Mac N Cheese! We also enjoyed playing checkers and shooting pool while watching football. The entire pub staff was awesome! ||I’m new to golf and the course was very challenging for me, but the beautiful fairways, greens and scenery still made for a great time! I lost 12 balls, but still managed to enjoy myself! ||I made the mistake and booked our UTV ride outside of our hotel reservation (a week later!) I realized this a few hours before we were set to head out for the UTV ride and I was so upset since this was one of the events my girlfriend was looking forward to. Once the staff realized what had happened they contacted Justin, who runs the UTV events. Justin contacted us and was adamant to make it happen even though he personally had a very busy day since he is in charge of several other events and also had a surprise engagement to prepare for on the same day. I must say, the UTV ride was the highlight of our trip. We took in some amazing views and driving up and down through the terrain was exciting. SO MUCH FUN! We couldn’t be more grateful for what Justin did for us! THANK YOU JUSTIN!||We plan to go back in the summer!

We returned to this property for several days after Christmas. Wonderful place in a beautiful setting but if your patience is short for pace of service in dining areas this is not your place. We have patience and the friendliness and kindness of staff balanced out the shortcomings. Rooms are very spacious but very minimal accent lighting caused our room to be annoyingly dim in evenings. Outdoor activities and the Orvis clay shooting services are very good and enjoyable! We’ll be back!

Run don’t walk to Pursell Farms for your next family or couples getaway. Who knew such an amazing secret existed so close to home. We were treated like family and experienced so many wonderful things. The food was delicious and activity choices met a wide variety of interests.

The location is beautiful, natural, peaceful. So many open areas. You feel like you are at your own private farm. The Inn was perfect for our stay. Golf course is first rate. Orvis shooting and store - great experience. Staff is very hospitable. Our visit to Pursell Farms exceeded our expectations.

The food is amazing! The beds are probably the most comfortable in existence. It’s like sleeping on a cloud. The rooms are large and welcoming. The staff were super attentive and responsive. Other hotel chains should take notice of the Pursell model! Love this place!

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and feel pampered, relaxed and rejuvenated this is the place. My husband and I have traveled here several times and have had nothing but a wonderful experience each time. The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are so comfortable! There are three restaurants on property where I have not had a bad meal yet. The service can be a little slow in the restaurants at times but honestly at this place time stands still and you never feel in a rush. There is also so much to do to keep you entertained. From the driving range, petting farm, axe throwing, skeet shooting, pool, atv rides, horse back riding, and top notch golfing you will not be bored. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone wanting to remember what it is like to relax.

Pursell Farms was the perfect Christmas getaway for us. We were looking to start a new tradition for Christmas. Loved all the decorations and fun activities as well as the layout of the property. Would highly recommend staying here for couples, family or friends.
