I stayed here on my way north to Taos, and will say while it's not the Ritz, the bed was comfortable and everything in my room worked fine. The owners live on site and are a very nice couple, happy to chat in the morning at breakfast and share their stories. I liked it so much, I stayed again on my way back south. If I return to this area of Texas, I will definitely stay here again, or at least stop by to say hello. Don't listen to the bad reviews!
Was in town for a month working and this place was perfect for me. Rooms have recently been renovated and the price for a place with a kitchenette was great considering what rooms are going for these days. Owner was very friendly and attentive. I would happily stay here again.
Price is very reasonable. However I had reserved king sized bed and when i arrived I was told they did not have any king sized beds available. Also no ice was available, they said ice machine was broken. Plus dead bolt lock on room door was not working.
Just passing through and decided to save a few dollars and stay the night here based on reviews. This will now be our regular stopover spot! With tax we paid $60 for the night. Clean, clean, clean (and my standards are VERY high!) The towels were thick and fluffy and the bedding was thick and fluffy, too. The A/C worked like a charm and the water was hot and the water pressure was excellent. The front desk even provided a toothbrush when I’d realized I’d left mine behind. The clientele were just regular folks passing through and NOT the long term type that you see at some of these places. Don’t pay more for less….stop here when you are passing through Snyder!
Grandparents had to get a room for a couple of days because of plumbing issues at home. When they went to Purple Sage, the doors wouldn't lock, so they were moved to another room. Unfortunately, the same issue occurred as the rooms had a strong chemical smell. They asked for a refund, but they weren't there longer than 10 minutes and yet management claimed they couldn't provide a refund because they were out. It has been 3 days.
This is our "go-to" place to stay when we're in the Snyder area. This is not a fancy place, and you don't pay the fancy price either. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable. We've never had any issues staying here. The owners are very kind and caring people.
Positive: Nice old lady in the front desk. Negative: Few days there was no breakfast, they charge 15% tax to supposedly change bedsheets but they don't change them they just make the bed.was told there is no weekly rate that it was day by day, but can't refund days if I check out early.
Very clean, quiet n quaint roadside motel in Snyder, TX. Offering multiple outdoor gatherinf places under the shade trees and the wlde open skies.
What a gem. Stoped here driving home on New Yearâs Day - they were happily open and the owners are a delight. The lemon filed donut was my favorite. Owners snuck us some extra donut holes for our long drive. Wish we had this place in our town.
Very cute coffee shop with very sweet staff! I was visiting the area and not sure what I wanted. They made me a new drink after I didn't love the first one and they were very helpful with suggestions about things I would love. I definitely recomme
Stopped by this restaurant before heading back home to Houston. Tried the meatloaf lunch and "OH MY GOODNESS!! " This was the BEST meatloaf I have ever tried!!! The Chicken fried steak was also very delicious!! Everything was very delicious. The corn
My son and I shared a Steak Bento Plate. Lots of variety of flavors! On another trip there: my new favorite - Crazy Jalapeños. My son had a Snyder Roll. Both yummy. The service is great!
Wonderful donuts, great quality and freshness. Friendly, gracious service. Stopped on my way through Snyder, but I would surely be a regular customer if I lived in the area. Highly recommended.
The best, most authentic street tacos, the beef burritos have some of the best meat(not done like a regular US burrito, but more of a Mexican family house burrito. This place is awesome, I can't say enough how much I enjoyed the food, and the prices
Staff so friendly. I was impressed how clean this property is as it is not a 5 star hotel by rating of hotels per se. However The rooms are exceptionally clean. Floors showers always clean. And sheets always clean. The housekeepers are doing an excep
I really love this place By far some of the best Chinese food Iâve ever had the pleasure of eating. The owners were super friendly. Donât let this place fool you must definitely try this one. Lots of history with some of the imported lamps and a
The staff here was so nice and friendly! Overall, it was clean and tidy. The lobby and breakfast area were spacious and the pantry area offered a variety of snacks and drinks. The workout room had a lot of equipment; however both elliptical machines
