Small movements, big flex. Short time, maximum gain. During my 1st visit I was surprised how quickly we were able to get the body in the correct position for the best gain. Instructors were highly attentive and knowledgeable. Not your warehouse workout, be ready to discover your week esses and strengths.
Oh my goodness. When I tell you my visit at Pure Barre set me up for one of the best days I haven't had in such a long time. My instructor was very warm and motivating. I had to sign up.Treat yourself you deserve it.
Enjoyed attending class here while on vacation. I am an avid Pure Barre member out of the Indianapolis area. I was a little bit off, put it by them charging me for the class, but when I reminded them, I never visited the studio before they waive the fee and had a great experience good retail, good instructor and good workout while on vacation As an out of town or there is definitely a little bit of gentrification going on in the area so I would recommend not leaving valuables in your car.
Please please please don't ever sign up for one of their free classes. I swear to God I get about 7 phone calls a day from one of these locations. If they are that desperate to get someone into the studios, they shouldn't have opened up so many. This is why I won't ever go back. Ever!!!! I don't like people blowing up my phone and it's always when I'm trying to nap before work
I just started last week at Pure Barre Norfolk and I'm already hooked. If my schedule permitted me, I would take it every single day. All the instructors that I've meet so far have been extremely welcoming and made me feel comfortable in this new environment. The classes are challenging, but I already feel better and have started to see results. Each teacher motivates you to do your best and beyond what you thought possible. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone!
I just moved to the Norfolk area from out of state and I wanted to jump into a new gym/workout routine with a supportive group of people. I had done some barre previously but nothing compared to the workouts here. With the staff at pure barre, they are continuously offering modifications and support throughout the class. I really appreciate when a teacher will correct my form so that I'm not only doing the workout safely, but effectively too. The staff at pure barre are SO Friendly and kind. Every single person I meet has been welcoming and actually takes the time to get to know me by name. I'm not the thinnest or most in shape person in the room but I am the strongest I have been in a long time and I always look forward to my next class.
This Pure Barre is amazing!!!!! The studio is one of the best I've been to, super cute with great classes but the class itself. So worth it!!! Really individualized, fun, and so so difficult! I really feel all of the different exercises and I am sore for a couple days after! It's really an uplifting experience and I love it. Everyone there was so helpful and kind and i love going to the studio. A+++++!!!!
I really enjoy the Pure Barre classes! The instructors are super motivating and the workouts are definitely challenging (in a good way!). The music keeps you going, and it's a good mix of instruction and just letting the music play. I've never had trouble finding a parking spot either, which is helpful. The only downside is the membership is quite pricey.
Needed a gym while I was on Vacation and was quickly welcomed into this friendly environment that I became very comfortable with immediately. Not only do the coaches know their stuff but they push you to achieve more advanced movements. They also hav
I've been going to Ghent fit for 2 years now and I have really liked the staff and individual work out rooms. I have had a few trainers while being here and my current trainer, Alfonso, has been the best I've had so far. He is a terrific trainer and
Really pretty cafe. The owner was so warm and welcoming. The food was really good and as a bonus looked amazing, especially the forest kabob and carrot cake. Only downside was it was a bit expensive and the portions werenât crazy
We came to the Open Studio and all had so much fun! Most painted from one of the MANY samples. I did a paint pouring. No instruction, but help when we needed it. Great facility and wonderful owner. We will definitely be returning!!
This Museum in the heart of downtown Norfolk is well worth the visit and does not take too much of your time. The staff on hand are very knowledgeable in history of the house and the family who lived there. The Hunters were prominent bankers of the
Such a cute dining experience. We did the Turkish breakfast on Sunday morning and loved sitting in the garden amongst the wildflowers and bees. The food is very tasty and locally sourced where possible. I did the wine flight and especially loved the
Everything was amazing from the food to the customer service! I got the Barbie drink and itâs probably the best lemonade Iâve ever had. We also got a bagel with cream cheese and a bacon egg and cheese bagel. 10/10 Workers were so sweet. Even thou
These grounds are beautiful. Itâs a little on the smaller side as far as property size so you can get through it within a couple of hours max, but itâs stunning. They have some installations and the light/sound experience is really moving.
The atmosphere is 100% dedicated to the love and lives of cats. Proceeds from paid visits help them keep cats cage free and acclimate to shared spaces with other cats and humans while they wait to be adopted. There is a complimentary "cafe" with an
They have good coffee, good tea, and good waffle based foods (I had one with goat cheese, herbs, pistachios, and honey that was really good). The coolest thing, however, is the overall vibe. They are in an old house, have a little used bookstore inco
