Great studio and folks. A little over crowded and a lot of switching between props and locations during class. Can be pretty confusing for new comers. I could tell the people who come regularly really enjoy it.
I had heard of Pure Barre after seeing a friend's FB post about going to a studio back in Texas. I had no idea what it entailed, but it sparked my interest. I was the winner of the free intro month drawing that Pure Barre Anchorage had prior to the studio opening and I'm officially hooked. It is such a great workout, low impact (which I really like), and no two workouts are the same. The instructors are all so friendly and it's just a great atmosphere. After having my daughter, I struggled finding a workout that I enjoyed, and let's be honest - workouts at home weren't happening. I wanted to take full advantage of my free month of classes, so it took me a while to come to the studio and start Pure Barre - I only wish I had come sooner!
Wonderful experience! Fun workouts with super sweet and knowledgeable instructors! They go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome, even sent out handwritten welcome cards! They also do fun events!
I absolutely love the classes at Pure Barre Anchorage. I've noticed such a positive change in my body and posture. I enjoy Pure Barre so much that whenever I travel I seek out Pure Barre locations to get my workout in. Because the classes are low impact I can take them in successive days without worry. I've found Pure Barre to be a great compliment to the reat of my routine and have noticed that my run times are faster and I overall have more energy. Susie and the entire Pure Barre Anchorage team are incredibly welcoming and supportive. Even when I'm tired, I always leave the class feeling energized and renewed!
For the longest time, I was one of those people who had no hobbies and sat at home every night doing nothing - up until my friend (an extrovert) made me (an introvert) start coming to Pure Barre to get back into working out. I was nervous at first because gyms have always been intimidating to me. It took time to get used to the exercises, but everyone at Pure Barre have been so, incredibly supportive and I can't thank you all enough for that. Not only have you helped me come out of my shell, but I can now say I have something I enjoy doing in my free time (while also getting nice and toned!)
Love Pure Barre. Especially love this Anchorage studio! All of the instructors are awesome. Shout out to Shauna for her inspiration and motivation every single class #goals. Great workout along with positive energy and supportive group of women! Try it out! You won’t regret it.
Classes are fun and I always leave feeling strong and good about myself. I love the supportive environment and getting to know my peers and the instructors. I’ve been going for about three months now and have definitely noticed a difference in my body. There is a wide range in age and ability of the participants and everyone is truly welcome.
I've been going a couple days a week now and I already feel stronger. I'm an avid hiker/rock climber and pure barre helps me tremendously with core strength and protecting my lower back. The whole staff is very supportive and positive, one of the best parts is the community created within the studio. Also, the clothes are adorable!

I was in town this December and was looking for an F45 to help maintain during the holidays. This gym welcomed me in and treated me like a member. Even offering to drive through the snow to pick me up for class Christmas Day. Iâll definitely be ba
Jay is great! He pushes you hard, but is super mindful of your body's limits. I told him about some previous injuries, and he has worked hard to help strengthen those areas, minimizing my aches and pains. My balance and stability have improved. I hav
First time going and will definitely not be the last! Great atmosphere! The axe masters were attentive and newbies like myself, the best corrections when needed. They teach how to throw everything they have, from ninja stars to shovels. High recommen
My CrossFit Northern Exposure experience began 4 months ago. I have been extremely impressed with the knowledge levels of all the staff and especially Emily. Being almost 70 and having a number of "issues" I was guided through the WODs in such a way
