Purdy's Coffee Co. - Coffee shop in Richmond - 444 Big Hill Ave, USA

The atmosphere at this coffee shop is pretty nice and the batistas were so nice. I had a chicken salad sandwich with Russian Sawmill Coffee. My only complaint is that sandwich was smaller than I expected. Another thing to note is that the Russian coffee is super spicy. Overall, my final rate is five star :)

It's worth driving from Lexington to visit. Opens at 7am, the lavender honey latte is sooooo dreamy good. Creamy and relaxing. I love the farmhouse Bagel with bacon egg and cheese. I highly recommend you visit

I love coming here to eat and get a great cup of coffee ☕️ It's always so peaceful here and the music is very relaxing. But most of all I enjoy the strong cup of coffee they serve here! I purchased the Pumpkin Spice Latte Hot and it was nice and strong, not over powered by the sugar or syrup like the usual way its made. I also got The Sunrise which is very delicious and healthy. It's a wrap with egg, cheese, your choice or ham or turkey (I always get turkey) and more. It's to die for! My personal favorite!

Nice friendly coffee shop. This is probably the best coffee shop in Richmond. A close second is the downtown Purdys! But I think I like this location better. Has better parking, new building, beautiful interior, clean and fairly spacious. I tried the pulled chicken wrap paired with chips and of course a house coffee afterwards. Very yummy 😋.

Was in town visiting family and my wife and I stopped in for coffee drinks. The building has a modern look to it and the atmosphere was spacious and inviting. My Iced Macchiato was excellent and prices were very reasonable. We will likely be back in the future.

I come here fairly regularly. I always get a hot mayan mocha extra spicy and it's only made properly maybe 15% of the time. I also get a breakfast item which has always been great! The coffee, however, was literally so bad today I dumped it out when I got to my office. Tasted like they just dumped various seasonings in it. The coffee was grainy and tasted like the back of a spice cabinet......Anyway, I don't think I'm coming back. I gave 3 stars because, when the coffee is made right, it's delicious and the food has always been good. However, the coffee is so inconsistent, I don't feel like trading money for a small chance that the coffee is good.

Went here for a quick work lunch with a supplier. The place is very nice and comfortable...we loved the sawn wood tabletops...we ordered chicken wraps that were excellently prepared and delicious, as was the coleslaw that came with it. Good place for a quick lunch or coffee and a snack! The people were very nice as well. This is a must check out place if your in Richmond...we will be back earlier in the day to try the coffee and snacks!

I’ll take Purdy’s over Starbucks any day. The offer a different selection of your typical coffee flavored drinks and the breakfast sandwich was delicious! I drink coffee black, which they have a pour over coffee, and was great!
