Delicious grilled chicken thighs. They were cooked to perfection. Could’ve had a second round of them. The chipotle Mayo was a nice sauce to accompany the meal. I had the sweet potato fries and Mac n cheese as my sides. Both were delicious and complimented the meal. Left feeling quite full. Would be back

Small unassuming place but the food was AMAZING! Got the lunch special (choice of chicken and two sides) and it was enough for my son and I. Super friendly service and the food was hot made to order! So good, like your grandma’s home cooking!

After a long walk in prospect park and a trip to the brooklyn library, I figured why not head to Purbid for some chicken since my mom has always recommended it. First things first, there not much seating but not many people were there, I assume most of their customers order delivery and takeout which is what I did. They have a pretty simple menu and I chose to order a half chicken which came with Pita and Mac & Cheese. It took about 15 minutes to cook my order and I was out of the door. It was still hot when I got home and I was excited to finally try it. The chicken is juicy and had a crispy grilled skin. I also had their chipotle sauce which I used to make a sandwich with the chicken and the Pita. When I opened the Mac and cheese I was not expected that much. It was tasty but I felt like need a bit more cheesy flavor. It kind of tasted like it was a condensed milk with minimal cheese vibes. Overall a good meal, I was stuffed so I had to save some for later on. I will be back

A cool takeout place with a few tables. Majority of options include chicken. Quite good. Unique take on a chicken cheese steak. Worth a visit.

Food is good. I have only tried the Chicken Breast and the sides which was Mash Potatoes and Asparagus. Only one bad experience when they burnt my chicken breast and bread. Give them a try.

I have always wanted to come here. And since I hadn't had breakfast yet decided a chicken sandwich would warm me right up. I went for the chicken cheesesteak and my goodness was it delicious! So much cheese and chunky pieces of chicken on warm brioche or potato bread. The condiments are also perfection. Loved the purbird sauce - sweet and spicy. I ate it right at the seat of my car...it smelled so good! Besides, it wouldn't have made it to Queens from BK. Glad I stopped by. And staff were helpful, place was clean and esthetically pleasing.

Ordered delivery directly from purbird in stead of going through platforms such as Uber eats so they don’t get charged a high fee. However beware before you do so with this restaurant because if something goes wrong with you order, there’s no one to assist you. Our last order from them came spilled from poor packaging. Tried calling them right after receiving the order to see if they can send a replacement but no one answered the phone. In the answered machine they said the best way to contact them is to email, which we did but it’s been over a week and we haven’t heard a word. When ordering through Purbird’s own website we also paid tips upfront and there’s no way to modify it afterwards. We had enjoyed their food for many years, but the poor customer service probably will stop us from ordering again soon. It’s a shame.

liked it.. my chicken burger was very tasty and I had the mashed potatoes and jalapenos..! very friendly staff.. and the food tasted very fresh
