Excellent Central American restaurant. Large variety of authentic dishes to choose from. Most everything on the menu is $10 or less. The portions are very generous. Good selection of sodas. Great experience.

Delicious Centro-American food. The pupusas are very good. Their service is not the best. It is only one waitress that makes the services slow. The restaurant looks clean.
I used to be a frequent customer. Its been a bit since coming here but wanted some good pupusas. I have to admit..they aren't as good as they once were. Its odd, they were kinda flavorless. I got the chicharrón, frijol and queso ones and it barely had chicharrón. Was pretty disappointed as the flavor came from the curtido and sauce alone. On the plus side, the pupusas were VERY fresh. Literally freshly made. Hopefully they go back to their usual recipes for the fillings. I was honestly let down this time. Their mexican horchata is perfection.
Another plus, is their service. Always quick and very courteos which is why i put 4 stars.
Food is not horrible but it’s not great either, the reason for the 2 stars is because of the service and hospitality. Went there with my Hubby and put in an order to go it was 54$ for us both. When I asked to take a hot sauce bottle to eat outside because we have a puppy with us, the waiter went to the kitchen and came back with two one once hot sauces, we ordered a lot of food and two of those could barely cover for one pupusa, I asked for two more and she was charging a dollar for every two more. How stingy, giving we just ordered all that food… We just wanted to use the hot sauce bottle while there, we weren’t trying to steal it lol when we checked our bag with the food, there was also no napkins. The cafe con leche just tasted like leche (milk) I would have loved to liked this place since I am half Costa Rican and I was super excited to eat Gallo Pinto, but I am a bit disappointed, mostly with the treatment. But, if I had to criticize the food I’d say it was lacking salt, flavor, and it was kind of dry.
Next time a little generosity could get you a long way getting you loyal, lifetime customers vs bad google reviews.
And I am specifically talking to the waitress, the lady in the cashier was very sweet.
Being a Guatemalan who knows her Central American foods very well, let me say I absolutely love this place!! I have been coming here for many, many years, I think since they've been open. The owner and the waitresses are so friendly and always remember my husband and I and pretty much always know what we are going to order lol. They are Salvadorian but have different dishes from other Central American countries ,everything is absolutely delicious, they make the BEST pupusas and Salvadorian Horchata! This is hands down one of my favorite places to go! You won't be disappointed.
So authentic and delicious. I highly recommend. Great el Salvadorian dishes!
