What a fine off the beaten path, food is excellent, nice and clean friendly service. We had pork tamale wrapped I think with banana leaves so yummy and a couple of pupusas with different filling! If your in the area stop
This place is tiny but yummy jalapeno and cheese papusas. Their curtido was a bit bland but still good with the salsa. Overall 5 stars. Look forward to trying more from their menu.
The pupusas are not good, are already made and they only heat them up, every time that I order caldos they don't have, the service isn't very good either. I don't think I'll come back here. I've tried 4 times and it's always the same. the waitress seems bored and in a bad mood.
Finally made the drive to try A & J's. Cute little restaurant. Staff were all very friendly and service was fast. It's been a long time since I've had pupusas and these were very good. Many choices for fillings so you are sure to find something to satisfy whatever you're craving. The tamal was flavorful and cooked well. The curtido was tasty as well. Glad I finally was able to get out there and give them a try, only wish they were a bit closer to Boise, but not far enough to keep me from going again!
Wild customer service. I went with a friend and the server literally wanted to punch me in my face because I didn't grab the menus. She never offered us water. I can understand why it wasn't busy at all.
Best date night!! His first pupusas was a 5 star rating 🌟 Delicious and fresh! Must try some of the specialty dishes, worth it. Especially the Yuka with pork. Creamiest horchata!! Coming back again. Thank you guys! 😊
The Pupusas were incredible! I ordered two, one with fried pork, beans and cheese and another with chorizo and cheese. My favorite of the two was the chorizo with cheese. The slaw was crunchy and flavorful. They had two salsa's, one mild and one spicy but both tasted mild to me but they were good. The owner took our order and he was so friendly and courteous. The restaurant was clean and neat, although we did arrive right when they opened. Overall, the amazing food and warm service will bring me back.
Fantastic, little hole in the wall El Salvadorian restaurant here in Caldwell. The food here is surprisingly delicious and absolutely dirt cheap. We like to order the Horchata to drink and a smorgasbord selection of their made to order pupusas and tamales. It never disappoints! Our favorites are the Pork w/ Cheese & Beans (Pupusa Revuelta) and the Papusa Loca which has both chicken and pork, beans, cheese & spinach inside. Yum! But honestly, you can't go wrong with anything you choose. Papusas range between $2-$3 and are ridiculously filling, so you get alot of bang for your buck. A must try restaurant if you're in the area.

This place has the best food. It is packed full of flavor and it won't disappoint. There are a TON of vegan options as well. The soups are all homemade. I had a delicious salad with an apple butter vinaigrette.
Nice short hike/climb. Steep trail. Used main trail that goes in back. A shorter trail in front looked too steep. If you go to the top there is cliff edge. I like to be 6 feet away from edges. View is good from front of top, getting there puts you 3
