Punjabi Restaurant - Restaurant in Okemah - 11249 OK-56, USA

We stumbled upon an amazing Punjabi restaurant while we were traveling through Oklahoma. It's in a Stuckey's, but don't let that fool you, the food is amazing. We ordered black lentils, palak paneer, chicken curry, and garlic naan. All were as good or better than in any fancy Indian restaurants we've been to. The ingredients are so fresh, and everything is 100% homemade. I highly recommended it.

My husband and I love stopping here on our way to Arkansas and east Oklahoma. They have all cool truck stop things, and a burger joint and Indian food restaurant inside! The food from both places are delicious! It's a very neat little gas station.

It's worth the drive if you know the food. I was not let down at all.

My only complaint is that the food is a bit pricey. I was passing through the area today and saw the sign so I stopped. I wasn't feeling well but I couldn't pass up the opportunity. I am quite happy I stopped. The food is very good, not something I expected to find in the area. The fresh juice was wonderful and helped me push through my drive. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely stop. May even plan a trip that way just so I can stop again.

Hiding gas station Indian food. Amazing taste.

Excellent authentic Indian food! The chicken chilli is very tasty, though not super spicy/hot. The chaat appetizer was great. Of note, the store is a Stucky's, with all the old treats. Great selection of snacks and other items. This place is now on our cross country must do list.

Awesome goat curry and rice! FYI, I got med heat and for my mom, it would be too spicy. It was tasty, meat and rice both tender. Watch the bones! 😋 New stop on truck route.

I stopped here for a quick bite with two kids on a long road trip and was SO GLAD we did! The food was absolutely amazing and fresh! We got chicken curry, rice, chicken biryani, garlic naan, mango lassi and galub jaman for dessert. Everything was so delicious, perfectly spiced, and a great value! Unexpected for a random gas station. If I'm ever anywhere near again you bet this will be our first stop!! The staff even interacted with our 2 young kids and were very friendly, this was a highlight of our trip; thanks again!!
