My husband and I could not recommend Puget Sound Birth Center more. The support and care we received from our midwives far exceeded all of our expectations. Our prenatal care was amazing - the midwives are so knowledgeable and gave us so much confidence. We had our first child here in November, after a very long labor; our midwives were so calm, reassuring, and supportive throughout which made me feel so empowered and capable. The care we received postpartum was more amazing than we could even ask for - one our midwives came to our home for our one day checkup, which was amazing. It was so nice not to have to leave our house and have her come to us. If you are hoping to have an unmedicated birth, I cannot recommend the Birth Center more enthusiastically.

Our family is so grateful for PSBC and we would recommend this amazing facility and midwives to everyone. My husband and I loved our midwives, Courtney and Amanda, and truly looked forward to seeing them throughout our pregnancy. I truly believe that the amount of care and education I received from our team played a huge role in having the birth I envisioned as a first time mom. My husband cannot rave enough about how empowered he felt throughout our pregnancy/birth because he always felt included and informed by our midwives. Courtney and Azalea attended our birth and I felt so supported and safe. Trust was a pillar in the relationships we built at PSBC and we felt so at ease leaving with our daughter knowing that our team was so incredibly thorough in making sure mom and baby were in great shape to go home. Lacey & Carolann also deserve a specialist acknowledgment for their hard work with making everything run so smoothly, it also helps that they are both so kind and fun! The facility is clean and cozy. We wouldn’t hesitate having any future babies here!

Wonderful birth center!! I saw Courtney and Amanda from around 20 weeks until I delivered with Amanda. Both are absolutely amazing! They’re kind, considerate, attentive, caring, and all around wonderful ladies. The staff and students are also very nice and helpful! Communication is great, their client portal is very user friendly, and the facility is spotless and very home like. I have no complaints and can’t wait to see them when the time comes for the next baby :)

I loved the whole experience. The midwives are really well educated and always took their time for all my appointments and answered all and any questions I had. The brith experience was great and I felt very supported and trusted my team with everything. Especially, they respected my philosophy of low to high interventions and supported me with that during the birth process as well. The rooms are clean, nice and have all the things you would need! 10/10 recommend.

My experience at the PCBS was outstanding from the first phone call to inquire about scheduling an appointment to my last postpartum visit. It is a very clean & cozy facility. My son's birth didn't go how I was hoping, but my midwife (Blake) was incredibly supportive & intuitive every step of the way. She believed in my abilities up until the last moment & made sure we tried every possible trick in the book. During each prenatal appointment, I could ask any question I wanted and never felt rushed or unheard. They gave me all the options available, so I felt like I was in full control of my pregnancy & labor. They were gentle & caring and felt like family throughout my care. I would recommend PCBS to anyone looking for a truly wholesome connection with their pregnancy and care team.

I loved every minute of my time with everyone here. Courtney and Amanda were so wonderful and thoughtful, making me feel safe, supported, and comfortable all along the way. When it came time for the actual birth, Courtney guided me through like the seasoned pro she is. In a moment of panic when I thought it was all too much, she helped me calm down with just one look and a reminder to relax/breathe. Though we started at the birth center (which was such a lovely experience!), we ended up transferring to the hospital to vacuum out my stuck baby. Courtney knew *exactly* when to call it. Any sooner, and I would have felt like I gave up. Any later, and I might have needed a C-section. Courtney stayed through the night and fed me veggie broth while cheering me on and helping me make some tough decisions along the way. I felt protected and loved in her presence, and that made my whole birth experience magically wonderful. Though it didn’t go exactly as planned, I have nothing but positive memories from my entire time with this team! I’m even tearing up a bit as a write this, remembering how beautiful the whole experience was. What a wild ride! THANK YOU!!! <3

I had the most incredible experience at this birth center! The level of care and support I received from the midwives was truly exceptional. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Amanda, Courtney, and their student Nisa for being there every step of the way. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed and cared for. Amanda and Courtney made me feel like I was in capable and compassionate hands, which eased my anxieties about the birthing process. I cannot imagine giving birth anywhere else after the wonderful experience I had here. The birthing center provided a warm and nurturing environment that allowed me to feel comfortable and empowered during one of the most important moments of my life. The midwives' expertise and genuine care for their patients truly shone through. If, by any chance, I ever become pregnant again, I will not hesitate to return to this birth center. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a positive, supportive, and empowering birthing experience. Thank you, to the entire team, for making this journey so special. You have my deepest gratitude!

My youngest daughter asked me how our experience was after our oldest daughter gave birth to her second child again at Puget Sound Birth Center and if it was as good as my experience with their youngest brother ( our 5th and youngest child) when I delivered at PSBC back in 2006. My answer was an astounding YES!! My reply to her is below. “ Amanda is a great person. She has a good heart and strong energy but not pushy … perfect balance. She is in her right place. There is no way that anyone in a hospital environment would have that patience and fortitude like that to stick with it. But she had a crystal clear vision of the goal. Crystal clear. And that’s what makes her a winner and a key team player. She is the Sue Bird of midwives and quite honestly in my heart she deserves a banner for that. Because like Kenny Griffey Jr, Sue Bird and all other amazing athletes they are able to see the end goal clearly. And she does. She sees the home run when she steps up to the plate. She sees the basket when she is holding the ball. And I know for a fact she saw that baby before we even could. She got me on the ball as a team player and then I was able to get Diana on board to reach our end goal. Amanda is a leader! “

I’ve signed up for memberships at the big box gyms starting off with enthusiasm and then slowly stop going. I would get bored of my routine and never felt like I knew what I was doing or what I should be working on. Then I joined Dan’s gym at F3!

Nice facility with plenty of space for hitting pitching, fielding, and weights. There’s even stuff to do if you decide to stay for a whole practice (pool, ping pong, video games, massage chair)
