Pufferfish - Tiki bar in Milwaukee - 411 E Mason St 6th Floor, USA

Visited puffer fish on a Saturday with my girlfriend and we both had a fun time plus if you are looking for a great place with a view this is at the top of the list because it offers sites of Milwaukee that few other rooftop patio bars do. The vibe at puffer fish is definitely Tiki and while they do have an inside bar there is not much space and it was definitely meant to be enjoyed on their spacious outdoor rooftop patio which has its own bar. You will definitely not find your ordinary cocktails here and all of the specialty drinks come in fun different themed glasses along with a list of ingredients that may seem overwhelming at first but taste delicious and you can really see the work that the bartenders put into making them which does lead to a bit of a wait time but it's definitely worth it for the experience. It was pretty packed but that was expected for a Saturday night and the crowd was friendly and everybody seemed to be having a great time so I look forward to going back hopefully before it gets too cold and I would recommend others do the same while they still have the chance.

Had been wanting to try Pufferfish at Hotel Metro for a while! It was clearly marked how to find it inside the hotel and loved the entrance as you go up another set of stairs to get to the bar (but does have a lift for accessibility). I enjoyed my drink, got the Tropic Bird, and all of the live plants and varied seating options. I would only love to see it a bit darker in there (especially the side room) as that is what I love about tiki bars but overall enjoyed my experience! Was a perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink and would like to return in summer for the rooftop.

We just went to Hawaii in April for our honeymoon. It's fun there's now a permanent tiki bar in Milwaukee. Fun drinks, we will be back! The pufferfish drink was the best in our opinion:)

If I could live here, believe me I would (& maybe I basically already do 😅). Delicious drinks, great vibes, and a staff that makes you feel like home. This rooftop bar IS the place to be all summer. No matter the drink, you will always happy dance. The tiki aesthetic feels so tropical, you forget you’re in Milwaukee. Literally don’t walk RUN to Pufferfish, get yourself an El Diablo (maybe dance a bit in the disco potty), and stay all night for the friends you’ll make. You won’t be disappointed.

This rooftop bar at the Metro Hotel is a small and cozy getaway above the busy downtown. We took refuge there during the Harley Fest traffic jam and you couldn't even tell that chaos was happening just six floors down. There was a bar inside and outside and their drinks were delish! You have a great vantage point to see a different view of the Headless Woman mural in the Third Ward and a perfect view of the Art Deco bridge on the backside of the Telephone Building.

What an awesome rooftop bar! You have to use the elevators inside the hotel to get to it (then there will be signs). I had the pufferfish cocktail. It was a perfect gin drink! They put emphasis on making each drink unique and perfect from the glass to the garnish. We had a great time, and the location offered perfect insta-worthy pictures.

Tropical vibes in the Midwest? Yes please! I will never stop recommending this place to folks. Friendly, attentive, charismatic staff. Unique, flavorful, cocktails that are to die for. This place has it all! Can’t wait to drink here again.

I love Pufferfish. The drinks are phenomenal, the atmosphere is perfect, and it’s almost like stepping into a hidden alcove of happiness in this wonderful city of ours. I 100% recommend coming here and stepping into another world. You will not regret it!!!!! Tell Jc hi from me!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
