We love coming to eat and celebrate at this location. Sky is our girl to go and she is always so kind and sweet. She goes above and beyond for my husband and I be cause we are vegetarian. Thank You Sky and the whole stuff for such an amazing experience.
The food was good, the tortilla chips had kind of a strange whole wheat flavor...
Also, the Steak Fajitas had very little meat. It was mainly onions...
This is my go to Mexican place. Food was delicious as usual 😋. Only problem was having to wait to get service. We got our chips and dip but had to wait at least 10 minutes before we could even put in our drink order. Talk about thirsty! After that everything came very quickly 🙂
Edit: came back in recently and sat for well over 40 minutes without service (besides drinks). Ended up having to walk out due to lack of service (there were plenty of servers chatting and it wasn't busy)
This restaurant always delivers a great experience. The food is outstanding, service is with a smile. Never had a bad experience here. The staff are really friendly and always go out of their way to make you and your party stay happy.
Taco Tuesday here is very reasonable. Tacos 🌮 $1.49 ea. Soft drinks are high $3.35 and cup of sour cream $1.95. I have to have Coke or Pepsi with tacos. First Responders 15% discount. Minus the soda, you can have (3) Tacos with your sour crème and tip for under $10.00.
Bright, cheery interior, wrh contemporary Spanish-language music, kind and friendly staff.
Colorful, generously loaded plates with flavorful comfort foods - enchiladas and frajitas are part of America's regional goodies!
Vegetarians, they've got us covered, too!
The Chiles Rellenos was excellent, stuffed with vegetables, charred, and roasted perfectly, with a mild and flavorful red sauce.
The Pineapple Frajitas were loaded with freshly grilled fruit and seasoned meats.
It's like a sweet abuela then loaded up the plates with mounds of corn-studded rice and cheese-topped beans.
And, it's another full meal for each of us. Si, si, si!!
We had a great server, Saul, which has a friendly familiar face as I’d been there in the past. His service is unmatched. He really aims to please his customers. We had Birria tacos which compared to other restaurants, were pricey but tasty, nonetheless. All the times I’ve come here they have great food. I usually get the garlic shrimp and I love they add mushrooms and onions to that dish.
Have been going to this location in St. Lucie West for years and was always thrilled with the food, drinks, service and price. Unfortunately, last night, all of those elements were poor at best. The server had an attitude the entire time...she was unfriendly...not just to us, but even to the people dining at the booth next to us. The food was cold yet the plate was so hot it had to be handled with an oven mitt, same with both mine and my husband's plates. Further, the prices.....and I understand inflation, but everything is completely overpriced for what you're getting. Nonetheless, we are willing to pay more if service and food are tasty and HOT, but that was not the case. There must be a new owner or management or something b/c nothing about this place is the same as it used to be for many years. Yet, the website is the same....old menu, prices, etc.???? Listen up Management if you actually care to hear feedback from your customers: update the website to the current dishes and pricing...be honest about it instead of tricking people to come to a place that is not consistent with what's on YOUR WEBSITE. If you're in the restaurant business, then start running a business that serves hot food with friendly service at reasonable price point for the local market. Unfortunately, we wasted our money and time last night at Pueblo Viejo on St. Lucie West. Never again! Last tip: If you want to know how to operate a great Mexican restuarant, take a trip to the Torrerro's locations in PB County and emulate what they do.
