I love shopping here! The staff and managers are always pleasant and helpful. And they are always in easy reach without having to go looking all over to find someone. It makes shopping stress-free and even pleasant. I spend less because they have great sales on meats, produce, and much more. Don’t buy the carrot cake. It is addicting!
After purchasing some items I asked if I could get cash back and they said not on the self-check out. So I went to a register that the lady who told me not on self-checkout was working at and when I got there and made my purchase and tried to get cash back she said oh we can't give cash back on that card. Not even a little bit happy with that experience.
I'm weird maybe but I could spend a very long time in Grocery stores. And Publix has a wide variety of specialties. For me it's like Target but a grocery store 😂 I take forever checking out cheese's or olive oils, avocado oils. Good flour and eggs with that beautiful orange yolk. My son makes the best homemade pasta. We all love cooking
I had to get some cold cuts and cheese in a hurry. I went to this Publix because it is nearby and I love the Boar's Head meats. The deli employee offered me a sample of the meat I chose, which is really a nice touch, and got my order together quickly. My favorite tea was also on sale.
Communicate to your bagger that you don’t want food poisoning before unloading your cart.
On Sunday, 01/28/2024, a bagger ruined an entire bag of my groceries. She put my raw poultry and fish meat in a bag stuffed full of foods that don’t belong with raw meat. I lost my slices of cheese, dry spices, a coconut pastry I was super excited about because I can’t find it at the store closest to me, and a slice of white and chocolate cake I also can’t find at my store. I cannot consume these items safely because raw meat contaminated everything she shoved into my bag. We spent almost $200 and the bagger didn’t have enough sense to allow me the safety of bagging my raw meat separate from everything else. The only thing that will be cooked in that bag was meat. I don’t know if she’s just a person lacking basic sense or wanted to save the planet by shorting me one bag. But I do know I don’t feel like driving the distance to get my money back for an employee error. Publix has a reputation for being overpriced but higher quality than other stores. This bagger is a Walmart quality employee. I guess I’ll have to start educating the bagger before I unload my cart every time because this kind of safety training didn’t work. This is the 4th time someone contaminated my food recently, but it’s the first time a Publix employee did it to me. The other were Instacart shoppers who are not employees of a store. I’ve participated in the Instacart food safety training twice, so I know publix would have the same standards (if not better).
To all locations: please train your employees and follow up with them to make sure they actually learned how to safely bag food. If they can’t understand basic science about raw meat, please assign them to a different duty. If training basic knowledge is too much (it can be near impossible these days with the way humans are doing), then let’s allow cash at self check out so us educated-on-meat people can bag our own food and pay with basic currency.
They are all pretty much the same

Great store. The staff is always nice. Wide variety of options for groceries. You can go online and find more coupons to use at Publix. It has been a great addition to our town employing local staff.
I came in to get some flowers and needed a little help putting my own arrangement together. An employee was happy to help.. thank you but the way she loved them

Love the donuts here. Fresh and tasty. Donuts have gotten a bit on the expensive side everywhere, so IMO they better be REAL GOOD- and this place delivers every time. The bacon egg and cheese croissant and kolaches are real good too.
