Provence was my home from Nov. 2019 through July 2023. As a first-time renter straight out of college, I could not have been happier with my first apartment. Everybody on staff, including management and maintenance workers, were so friendly and responsive. I felt safe living there, the building was kept clean, and improvements were made to the property during the stay (a new outdoor space and patio, updated flooring in the stairwells, etc.). Definitely going to miss the great amenities (coffee bar!), too! I would easily recommend Provence to anyone in the area.
We have lived here for almost 2 years. We are on our second apartment (upgraded) and we are still loving life here. Everyone from management, leasing, and the maintenance team exceeds expectations on a daily basis. We are now looking at upgrading our last time here and continuing our life here. Beautiful apartments, wonderful community, and exceptional staff make this the place to be in Burnsville. Thanks to Shannon's leadership. Thanks!
Update: attached is the view from the new (upgrade) apartment. Excellent view, dual fireplace, spacious kitchen, not to mention all the clean, wonderful amenities they have here. When it came time for at least to be up, we couldn't think of a better place to move than right here. Here. Thank you to Shannon and all her team!
Provence has been my home since 2019 and living here for the past 4 years has been great. I couldn't ask for a better place to be my first apartment.
You can hear your neighbors every now and then, but most of the time I don't really hear anything. I actually forget that I have neighbors with how quiet everyone is! Everyone is so nice and helpful, even the few eccentric ones lol!
Amenities are great though I should try to use them more. They're all on the other side of the complex and I'm a little too lazy and comfortable to make the trek over there when I'm home haha! The few times I have used them though, they're great!
Staff is amazing. I love having a chat with them all when I can and I'd happily call them friends. The maintenance guys are top notch and answer calls so freaking fast! I've had issues with my appliances in the past that got fixed pretty much the same day as I put in the request in the morning.
Unfortunately because of the rise in rent prices, I'm forced to find somewhere else that will fit in my budget. I honestly don't want to leave, so I hope someday in the future I can move back if rent can get back to how it was a few years ago. Provence has been such a good place and I can truly call it home. I'm going to miss living here.
Both the washing machine and toilet were fixed 100%. I also had a new vanity top installed along with a new mirror and faucet. Frank was excellent and even cleaned the bathroom floor before leaving. He returned as he had indicated to patch up a few holes.
Jan has also been excellent throughout my application/touring process. She has been so polite and cheery.
Shannon is excellent. Stressed to me that she wants me to feel at home! Just wonderful.
This is a great place to live. We thought it would only be a year or so…10 years later..here we are. The cleanliness is exceptional. Staff is great and the maintenance team is great. Fix things right away. Lots of good amenities. We looked at a dozen places until we found Provence. After 10 years of living here I have nothing but good things to say about Provence.

We've been here 3 years. Honestly, it's an extremely well run and managed complex. They've stayed on top of maintaining and improving things throughout our time here. The office and maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful. As long as you have good neighbors above you, the noise level is great. Side to side and below us, we rarely hear anything. Our neighbors above us are great. But you will hear walking and thumping sounds. Only minor complaints would be...
-Occasionally smelling pot in the halls and when our windows are open.
-Some (not many) residents not taking pride in where they live. Creating messes in hallways.
Otherwise, well worth your rent money!
We lived here a little over a year while we were working on buying a house and it was a wonderful experience. Even during the pandemic, you could feel the community - everyone was warm and welcoming. The building folks were responsive and did a great job of creating a clean, pleasant environment. I would absolutely recommend Provence to anyone.

This is a beautiful place to walk. The trails are nice and have some privacy and some beside the houses, but it's a good 2 miles around the lake. There were a lot of birds. I think it will be beautiful in spring when the trees have their leaves.
