Excellent park, very well maintained with critical amenities like restrooms and drinking fountains. Pickleball courts are outstanding with very good lighting for night play. Hopefully more courts are planned as the demand for Pickleball continues to grow wonderfully.

The best thing about this place is the awesome community of pickleball players! We went nearly every morning for two weeks and had a blast playing. There are four dedicated courts. The only drawback to these courts is that they don't have enough room around them, and for recreational play, that isn't a big deal.

I just use the park for walking, lots of area to walk, nice play areas for kids, baseball diamonds that are well kept up, basketball courts ... just a nice place to relax. Also dog friendly.

Prospector park has issues, not only is there real wld life,ie snakes and stuff,there is rangers and citizens who think they have to patrol this park and make it a bad experience. Then there is the intrusive drone employees hired by the city of aj. You can't even pay down in this park without rangers asking you questions. Sad but true. And there is even civilians in cars trying to screw patrons over, Genesis pools PT cruiser trust to ride heard on unwilling patrons. A female about 5'2 190 lbs thinks she is a cop.watch out

These are the closest public pickleball courts near us. They are well taken care of and clean. Sometimes they get quite busy but most of the time you can play. Pickleball is so fun!!

Friendly players, good courts, and tennis courts next door, usually empty of course, with wheel-out net for PBall. Easy to use to start beginners.
