I've been a park visitor since the 1970s. That must mean something. City of Troy did what they typically do, and ruin anything that is good. They closed the way the road was meant to be traveled and diverted it in the opposite direction. The roads in the park are atrocious and should be a embarrassment to the Mayor and his staff. I personally think to vote for him is the exposition of a moron. I digress. There is also the pool that has trees growing out of the its basin. Just left to decay. Sad state of this once awesome facility. That would have helped city kids with summer idleness. The Park is not as popular as it was before it purposely destroyed. But there some redeeming qualities to meditate or just walk around and exercise. The tennis courts are used and look to be fine. Basketball courts are fine and the workout area that's relatively new. There is a couple pavilions to picnic or have a party.

Because of my schedule, I don't usually have a freed up Day for Sundays. But I was in the area on Labor Day Sunday, and it was pleasant to see all the cookouts happening. I decided I would do a quick waxing my vehicle. I quickened the process due to the smell of the grilling. It was making my appetite grow with each waft of BBQ.. Always was a great spot.
Nice and decently challenging course. Holes 10-15 are in the woods and add to the challenge. Recommend playing course in the full day light. I played at dusk and it added to my challange
Good park where to spend a good time, playground, panoramic view of the city, river and the mountain.
Not much to do in Troy, but being able to see the sunset from this park is pretty phenomenal.
What a fun park. They got a disc golf course (first time for me) and a calisthenics park. Lots more. Could have spent all day if not for the mosquitos. Spots in the park are run down (broken stairs and overgrown weeds). I imagine in it's hay-day this place was gorgeous. Definitely stop by the overlooks and see the beautiful sight before leaving.

Playground is mediocre and not worth an extra trip. Photo shows the main play area. There’s also a couple swings and slides. Restrooms available
This park has so much potential. Such a great space that needs a little TLC and updating. Would be great to see some new playground equipment for kids. Maybe turn some of the unused tennis courts into pickle-ball courts. It’d be really cool to see the pool open at some point. Hopes & dreams.

I've had the pleasure of enjoying Alias's espresso in my first and most recent cortado at the weekly Farmers Marketðð. Today I decided to give a large black cup, no sugar, of their Tarrazú Farm house blend a swirl... This will be a simple revi
I LOVED my breakfast at Naughter's. I got the biscuits with sausage gravy, and it was super flavorful. The potatoes were great too. I also had a side sausage patty and it was delicious and lean. I can't wait until next time I'm in town so I can go he

Tonight I'm on a little adventure in my new home city. My first stop is The Hill, Beer & Wine Garden. Their lengthy list of "Euro" beers was extremely enticing. I had the Paulaner Hefe-Weizen and Fiddlehead IPA. The latter has a lot of personality an
Went with my family, everything was absolutely delicious. Inside is cute and comfortable and the family who owns it is the nicest and most hospitable. Vegetarian/vegan options too. Cannot recommend enough!
A warm and cozy place with wholesome food experience. I had jujube tea, bulgogi and soft tofu stew with seafood. I highly recommend trying these three on the menu.
Love a place that knows what it is, and this is just such an establishment. Excellent pub food that doesn't break the bank, a nice tall glass of Guinness, and locals enjoying a round with friendly banter. Delightful. And the Fish & Chips were fresh a
