Prometric Testing Center - Featured Reviews (127)
To the 70-80 years old lady who work at the front desk.
Please be kind to younger kids who come with their guardians. Most of them have never been to a test center before so they would be very anxious and worry. If things don’t work out like you expecte, talk to their guardians. Last time you yelled at my 10 years old boy since he didn’t look at you when talking. He is young, still in the process of learning. Be a real good model!
Staff were friendly and clearly explained the process to me. I had no line checking. I arrived early and since my testing station was open already they even let me begin my test early instead of making me wait.
Horrible horrible horrible. Had to go to this place for child placement testing. They booked everyone at the same time. They have 15 chairs in the waiting room but booked roughly 30 tests at the same time...moreover they make you sign that you will not leave the lobby while the child is testing. Thus forcing parents to wait with out a chair for ~4hrs.
Next their process is horribly broken. We were assigned a 1pm slot and told to arrive 30 minutes early for checkin. We arrived at 12:18 and we're told that the 1pm slot didn't matter because the testing room wouldn't be available until 2pm! The checkin process was horribly inefficient with 20 or so families waiting in line for the one receptionist who was extremely slow and made each parent read and sign a sheet that they wouldn't leave...a sheet they should have read and filled out while waiting in line...or when signing up for the test.
The testing environment is poor for testing. It is loud, confused, and unorganized...not conducive for test taking. Moreover as kids get to breaks in their tests...the proctors come out to the lobby to gather the parent to sign the kid out for a 10minute break. The proctors butcher and mumble the names and they are screening to find the parents of the kid...who inevitablably have earphones in and don't hear the call. Instead...if they took cell numbers and texted parents to come checkout the kid or just have the kid grab their parent they could be far more effective AND keep the testing much more quiet.
Don't get the negative reviews. Staff is great, center is just right, easy in and out. Plenty of lockers. Noise-canceling headphones did the job for covering all the clicking keyboard sounds neighbor test takers were making.
I've taken three 4 hour exams at this center (June, July, Sept). This center is full of polite employees who are respectful of the ongoing testing environment. If you arrive 30 mins before start time as directed (for locker, restroom, security and identity checks), you should have a smooth experience. The lobby was full 1 visit (~8am) and for the other 2 visits I started my exams 15-20 mins early (~12pm). Lockers are not the height of a backpack, but height fits a folder on its side. I bring a draw bag. My licensing examination process is extensive and the U.S community online talks about their experience... can say we're lucky to have a great test center.
I had an exam today at 3:15p and called to inform them that there was a big car accident that could’ve prevented me from getting there on time and Linda was really nice about it! She even told me that part of the parking lot was closed for maintenance and directed me to a spot where I could park and walk over. The other staff member who performed a security check was also really nice!
I have tested twice at the Tacoma location and only once here. This was my third attempt and I had actually a really awesome experience. I was super apprehensive from the reviews and thought "oh no, it's too late to reschedule for Tacoma."
However I was super pleased with the layout of the center, nobody was standing behind me frequently or for long time periods (as I saw from the reviews). The bathrooms were maintained well, the location was busy but I was only sitting for about 5 minutes after I was immediately processed. Even with 10 people waiting to test we were all processed really quickly and everything just seemed efficient and organized.
The reception lady was really nice and I think it really helped me feel relaxed going in to my test.
The gentlemen after the test were really nice and congratulated me.
In comparison to Tacoma, both were great testing centers and very similar in my experience.
The staff were super sweet and nice. They gave me a reminder call about my testing appointment.
The testing center itself was easy to navigate to, you have lockers to put your stuff in. Please bring a coat and water bottle and a small snack too.
The environment was a nice 70 degrees and was quiet with noise canceling headphones
You are given scratch paper, calculator, and 2 pencils with erasers.
Make sure to bring ID ( drivers license works perfect).

We were looking for a bingo hall where our 15 year old son was allowed to play at. Surprisingly this is the only one in the area! The staff are super friendly, it seems like a lot of the players are regulars and know each other. Great family environm
As someone who has lived in Thailand amongst other countries as well as had a previous 12 year career in food, this place is now in my top 3 thai restaurants in Washington. The boat noodle soup blew me away.
Great playfields and a nice size parking lot. Conveniently located on a main road. Signage is a little lacking and I always thought it was connected to the church next door.
