Promenade Inn & Suites Oceanfront - Featured Reviews (1967)
Terrell has worked here for more than 30 years and is so accommodating. He is the greatest one to greet you truly wanting you to enjoy your stay. Stormy and Leticia are so beautiful and educated about the area they are here to check you in! This place is very clean and best views ever we enjoyed the sunset while listening to live music on the patio overlooking the ocean! It truly doesn’t get any better than this! THANK YOU to all the wonderful staff and continued renovations I can’t wait to see the new carpet
Location is great rooms are your basic old school rooms with a cinder block wall no ac units very expensive for such a extremely tiny room. Shower nozzle barely drizzled it was clean that's the best thing I can say about it. I always wanted to stay there because of location. Next time I will walk a few blocks so I could stay at a nicer hotel
The location is fantastic, the customer service is great, the room is clean. However there is no AC and the window screen is broken and the windows do not lock so if someone wanted to break in they very easily could do so. There is no insulation between the rooms you can hear everything, every conversation, snoring, lots of noise from the balcony. Hard to sleep but room is clean
Location amazing. Staff friendly. Food at Mo's amazing. Rooms are small and you can hear everything from the room above when they walk. Would try to stay again after renovation is done see what upgrades are made. Hopefully better sound proofing and A/C.
Great location for seaside. Ocean view and easy access to ocean. However many issues. Room had no airflow so quite warm. Refrigerator not cold and much of our food went bad. Asked to be fixed but did not show up until the last night. Elevators very slow but able to use stairs. Room was VERY dated for the price you pay. Furniture very beat up, hold in bathrooms. Definitely needs an upgrade for the price you pay
The room was a little shabby (worn out bathroom door, trim on the entry was cut out in places), but otherwise clean. Our room had a kitchenette. The decor was a little out of date, but it was nice and clean. Great view of the beach from our balcony. Free parking garage. We parked the car and walked everywhere.
This place was dirty, smelly, and they did not refund my money like they said they would when I only stayed one night. The trim around the door came off as soon as we walked in our room. The elevator smelled like urine. I cut my foot on glass on the beach the first night also. The beach was dirty and garbage everywhere. I did not want to spend all my vacation there and went and got a better room. They refuse to return my calls and kept all my money even when the lady at the front desk said I would get $1,000 back in 3-5 business days. It has been weeks now and a manager will not return my call. If they would have told me I was not getting a refund I would have stayed, instead of spending another $1,000 plus on a better room. DO NOT RECOMMEND
We have stayed at the Shilo inn every time we've gone to Seaside for over 40 years, and our last stay on Aug 22nd to the 25th was exceptional with the new owners working on updating the hotel. Our rooms were very nice, and clean, the ocean view is always beautiful. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Michael, the supervisor/ manager was very professional and helpful with my problem with the 3rd party I booked with. They stayed positive even with some of the rude customers I witnessed. The elevator wasn't working all the time, which has always been a problem, but we just used the stairs. It is very convenient to park in their lot that's reserved for customers only and to able to walk into town, to the beach and along the promenade to the aquarium. No extra driving. Our stay was special because my daughter got engaged on the beach, our room was great and the weather was nice the entire weekend. We're looking forward to all the improvements being and staying there again next year. The only problem we noticed were from other people staying there. People in the room next to us left their dirty diapers in the hallway between the rooms in one of the rooms waste baskets. People that brought their dog, must have left it in the room so it would be barking whenever some one walked by. If customers have more respect for the inn, it would stay nicer much longer. Also complaints of air conditioner not working surprised me since it doesn't note air conditioners on the web site. I am still waiting to get my refund from the 3rd party, which is the one negative thing of our stay there. Linda Bradshaw
this place is absolutely beautiful & so cute. i love that their flower is local & home grown & their display is TOP notch. Kory was our budtender, he was very nice & helpful !! would definitely recommend if youâre in the area !
It's a long, windy, and narrow road into the day use area, but it's definitely worth it. The coastline is beautiful. The parking was busy when we arrived, and there was a sign saying it was full when there were actually maybe 10 spaces still availabl
June is a great time of year because of all the wildflowers, but parking isn't great (so get there early!) 80% of the hike is relatively easy... but it's that other 20% that reminds you this IS a mountain after all. Don't let that deter you though! J
Love this store. She carries great local jams, syrups, nuts, wines, chocolates and other yummy things. She has a wonderful selection of Dean Crouser art things. Coasters, wall art, stickers & more.
Good breakfast sandwiches and fun latte flavors/themes, cool atmosphere, and community vibe. Arrow to the knee drink was delicious and would go here again â¨ï¸ Love supporting queer owned businessesð³ï¸âðð³ï¸ââ§ï¸âï¸
The gentleman there was very helpful and informative. I loved the calm atmosphere with a hint of excitement. Talk about memories. Better than a Blockbuster. Took my son to experience and learn a little something about real movies. I see a new traditi
