Profit Rhino - Software company in Binghamton - 2 Court St # 401, USA

Very frustrating experience. I called 11/29 to cancel my subscription because we no longer needed the product. Prior to this they wanted to take my price book that I modified and added to. On December 1, I was charged for the month after I was told that I wouldn't be charged. I have called over FIVE TIMES the entire month of December requesting a cancelation and a refund for the month of December. Not to mention, I have to call 5-10 times for someone to answer. The only department that answers is the support department. It is 12/28 and I have yet to receive a confirmation for my cancellation and refund. Super frustrating doing business with them. It is impossible to cancel.

I was unable to implement this software at the time of purchase and unfortunately had to cancel the service. I have made Three separate attempts to contact Profit Rhino representative "Dillon Tiddick neglects to return any correspondence or direct any service my direction! Shame!!

Just got my setup training with Jack Felter. I am extremely impressed with the company BECAUSE of Jack. I am a very harsh critic and absolutely DESPISE services with ongoing monthly charges. I prefer to buy a product and own it. I was very hesitant to sign up but after getting setup with Jack. I feel confident in both the company and the product. I feel I will get any and all support I need. Even more importantly he was respectful of my desire for less than their top tier package. He even agrees that for my business and desires that it wasn't necessary to upgrade higher than what I chose. He offered to be there for any and all questions going forward or any additional training I or my staff needs. I am just starting out with Blue Rhino, but you can rest assured that if I become disillusioned over time. I will adjust and update my review accordingly. Jack is definitely a major asset to the company and I hope that his superiors reward him accordingly.

Profit Rhino seemed to be the way to go when we were looking to make a growth step in our company. We were looking Implementing Service Titan at the same time and were very transparent with them on this. Long story short Profit Rhino stated it integrated with Service Titan. IT DOES NOT. You can up load any price book into ST but I could have used my old one and not wasted the time. Had I keep my old software it might have been a 4.5 star review. I give PR a generous 3 stars for being easy to deal with and implement the process. However when you're selling a process/product that's not going to work how PR stated it would. You NEED to run this as a separate program. To me this is inventory management for your techs. Maybe it can be the Swiss Army knife they say it can as long as this is the only software your techs are using. Transparence & honesty is what I would focus on if I was working here.

Frustrating. OEM database is lacking, inconsistent pricing. Large ticket items priced too low and small ticket items priced too high. Unfriendly import to QBO- cannot designate which income accounts to map to during set up. It requires mapping each item individually. Maintenance, installs, and service all import to same income account. I thought I pay for a flat rate software to make life easier but it seems that I have to do it myself anyway. Looking for other alternatives and hoping Housecall Pro finds a different flat rate integration.

Perfect program to keep the prices competitive with the market. Great customer service from the initial sales call all the way through training. In fact, our trainer checks in every so often to make sure everything is still running smoothly and to see if we have any questions. For me it's about customer service you get with a program. For the owners (one of which is my husband) it's about the ease of use. This program couldn't be easier for the techs and for the back office. The techs basically have to find the customer, then look for the picture and click. The training for the back office couldn't make things easier for me. Once they explain everything, you know what you are doing, it's that easy. I am so happy we found this program and look forward to a long relationship with them.

The Salesman Joe K. was awesome!! He went out of his way to follow up, convince me, and eventually close our company on Profit Rhino. I was choosing between two other price books and his help and willingness to go out of his way was what got us to sign up with Profit Rhino. The on boarding process leaves a lot to be desired. Many common tasks such as different lengths of conduit types for different amp sizes of dedicated circuits and circuit extensions are not there. And I am still waiting for them to be added. I’m 4 months in or more. Overall I love the program it definitely helps sell bigger items like electrical panels and generators but I would love to see even a paid forum to help people come together and come up with more menu option boards. Right now your stuck with the stock items they give you and whatever you can come up with. This being our first menu style sales tool it is difficult to create your own. Again a forum for menu ideas even a paid forum would do wonders. That way Contractors could share what menu boards and presentations have worked for them.

We use Profit Rhino where I work. We were promised that the Pricing would be kept up with, as far as local vendors, but it was NEVER Done. We have been with them for Several Years and even though Dillon said they would update us on a new rollout. It never happened. Now going to switch to another vendor.
