Oh, wow! THE place to go for great food!
Had the fried Cauliflower & The Tomahawk! That pork was bigger than my hand and twice as thick! Cooked to perfection too! Service was awesome and watching Bocce Ball was a treat! MOST DEFINITELY coming back here!
This was not the first time we have been to Prison Brews. It was as delicious as always. We always enjoy the pizza. The pizza is usually what we get but I have also had the pork tenderloin sandwich and some of the appetizers. All of the food we have gotten there has been very good.
Great food and awesome service! We bring out of state guests when they visit because the atmosphere is so fun and unique!
Prison Brews is one of our regular spots. We usually go at least once a week. The food is always hot and fresh. They also have daily specials that are off menu items as well as a featured pizza of the week, so there's always something new to try. Definitely a must visit if you aren't from Jefferson City too. The prison theme is based on the nearby Missouri State Penitentiary and includes historic pictures and prisoner art.
My husband and I stopped in on our way from St Charles Missouri to Pomme De Terre State Park for camping. The service was amazing, the food was absolutely fantastic. The decal and atmosphere of the restaurant was spot on. Got to try a small batch smoked Chipotle Porter and it was amazing
We stopped in while on a road trip. Had a couple great beers, the Octoberfest & a very smooth, malt forward brown ale. The Supreme pizza was great. Having the left-overs for dinner tonight. We will be back.
The server was very pleasant and helpful. The decor is, shall we say, different and quite interesting. We also like the acoustics, it was easy to talk.
Prison Brews will satisfy your appetite with delicious food and provide excellent service (thank you, Michelle) in a delightfully entertaining prison-themed atmosphere. They offer abundant choices for both meal and drinks. If you like a dark beer, their Smoked Porter is outstanding. We thank you, Prison Brews...we enjoyed our visit with you!
A packed Saturday afternoon: wait staff were doing a good job with getting people seated and our orders. Onion rings were over breaded and over fried. Catfish was very good. Online menu is outdated and we were disappointed they no longer had fish and chips. Club was good, except the sauce was too spicy for me. Most of the people there had children with them and seemed to be having a good time.
Absolutely amazing and highly recommend! Everyone here makes you feel like family and Luke is phenomenal! Took his time to show me around and explain how things work!
I always love to find an old fire tower to climb. That automatically puts this on top of a list for me. It was nice to see they kept it safe to climb. The compass that is set up next to the tower was a nice touch. The branches in the path of the vie
