Princess Pub - Bar & grill in San Diego - 1665 India St, USA

Great service. So great that when a shot was ordered for me and I wasn’t done with my last, the waitress made sure I was ok with the order! So kind!! Best fish and chips in town! Great for sports. Plays the sound on the main game and its varied. Boxing, basketball, football etc.

Wanted something a bit laid back rather than the usual uppity Little Italy places so tried this. First, prices were very reasonable. The fried fish tacos were great! But the drink was very light, and I'm very certain it wasn't a regular sized shot . Hence not 5 stars. Maybe 4.5 stars? Side note, I got more than one cube of ice, so I know they aren't real Brits 😜

I ordered a Fish and Chips I was very happy with the quantity of the food and the taste as well. I sampled a few import beers as well from Britan, they carry Fuller's ESB on tap which is quite hard to find. The atmosphere of the pub is relaxed and you could enjoy things at your own pace.

Stopped by for a bite before heading back to hotel. The food was great! Sausage roll was on point. The mustard has quite a BITE too it, and I loved it. Fish and chips was a huge portion! Fish was fried good, and the light and crispy. Fries were thick and seasoned great! Beer was cold and poured right! One bad thing..too many drunks at the bar, and had some asshat rub and bump into me...other than that, fantastic meal!

Princess Pub & Grill was a little disappointing to me. Everything there was just barely OK. I had tortilla soup which was OK but not something I would go back for. The Guinness beer was about the best thing there. The atmosphere was not happening at 9pm on a Monday night in March. I've been to other bar/grills in San Diego that can get packed on Monday nights, even in March. Not this one. Very blah! The service was good, but again not spectacular. For a pub in San Diego, this one lacks substance & now I know I'd rather go to one like Shakespeare off Washington & India street.

It's an Irish Pub on Google Maps, but this is an English pub. It's hard to park because it's in little Italy, but it's too good to sit down and drink a beer while walking down the street. I think it might be better to just go to the food court to give tips and eat in such a noisy place. I order Irish coffee and Guinness beer or Black&Tan and french fries to see the atmosphere here. For Irish coffee, go to The Field in the Gas lamp quarter and drink it here, just drink beer or whiskey. The french fries are thick and well made. decided not to have dinner here. It's too much. There are so many people. Here beer and Whisky for drink for me. !!!

Petite halte en découvrant le quartier. Grand pub à l’anglais, emplacement idéal, bière fraîche et cuise non stop.

Good service, but very expensive drinks. That didn’t seem to even have a full shot in them. Decent bar food. Seems more like a dive bar but with prices that’s are more main stream.
