Friendliest service ever; brightened my day. Even though I walked in just as they were preparing to close for the night, they offered to pause what they were doing to make a hot sandwich for me. The sandwich was very good and remarkably cheap for its level of quality too. My dad was standing outside in their parking lot awkwardly eating food from home while I was ordering (literally eating a plain baked chicken drumstick next to the car lol. Dads!). While I was waiting for my sandwich they went out, unprompted, and invited him inside to sit at their table with me while he ate. They even offered him some napkins. Couldn't believe how nice that was.
Pulled up on primo's after their return hoping it might be better but pretty much more of the same... It's not bad but it's not great. More right in the middle though a better option than some of the other spots in town since they're more consistent here. Still I wasnt overly impressed w/the pollo guisado, maybe I was expecting too much. The flavors are good but I feel like it's missing something.
Used to go here in high school. Absolutely incredible food.
It reminds me of the deli my family owned in St. Helena, California. The trauma of that made me give the low servic2and atmosphere.
Always great! Great homemade hot food and fast!! (great prices too)
The food looks and smells delicious, the staff are friendly, the place is cozy though the tables were not very clean...I ordered a chicken quesadilla to-go and it was awful. The chicken is dry, and there's no seasoning (not even salt!), and there's no cheese, yet somehow the entire thing was sopping wet and impossible to pick up by the time I got back to my car. They say there's a chipotle sauce included which has turned everything a bizarre shade of pink, but I tasted absolutely no flavor coming from anything on this dish. I get that a chicken quesadilla is a pretty basic order but this is just awful. Maybe they put more love into their more "authentic" plates. Best of luck to them!
Do NOT judge this place based on appearance. The food is excellent inspite of the modest appearance. The portions are huge for the large platters. We really ordered all the main meats and everyone loved the flavors. Their maduros were juicy and sweet, just like we love. I especially loved the pork chop. Great place for Spanish food.
Have only actually been there a few times and not recently, but only because it is not convenient for me anymore. Most of my experience with their food has been at "Village Fair Days" and "Taste of New Milford," where they have a booth serving hot dishes. Theirs' always seems the most appealing of the options and I've never been disappointed. Just a little different from other choices there. Absolutely delicious. Now I'm thinking about it and getting a craving. I'm sure I'll be stopping by there again real soon.
Nothing beats the beauty of the venue. Its very picturesque anywhere you look, especially if you have a wedding. The owner Nancy, very kind, friendly, Receptive and provided valuable input and guidance throughout the process. I would not have asked f
Went to Connecticut for a girls weekend and decided to try this cafe - we loved it so much we started every morning here! Highly recommend the Caramel Apple Butter latte and the cheddar and chive scone! The people were super friendly and they also

What a wonderful experience! The Homestead Inn was one of the most relaxing and accommodating inns I have ever been to. I stayed in the main house which was very historic and decorated quaintly. The staff was nice asking if we have any food allergies
