Long time patron there, I guess ownership and other stuff has changed hands and not for the better from my experience. The food and service was unfortunately just awful, waitress didn't even come back to check on us, anyway.. used to be a great place for us to go, but not the same anymore. The beef served on a French dip was almost black, ugh. Of course they took off the bill, the cook insisted it looked OK, I asked him to bring the sandwich back to the counter and we could look at it together, he agreed but then didn't bring it back.
Came in today, Thursday, with my husband and 2 kids. Thursday is a specials day for kids eat free. They said for each adult that comes and orders a meal and drink, they get one child to eat for free. That itself is not specified on the special, but that’s fine. I ordered a meal and a tea, but I got my meal to go. My husband ordered his meal and soda and ate there. I ordered 3 slices of cake to go as well. Slightly over $5 per slice of cake, which I find to be ridiculous, but my family requested them specifically. (It’s probably the only item on the menu that is exceptional). I found the staff to be petty. My husband is not one to bother staff for just any reason, but when he ordered his burger and fries, his fries were burnt. Not black burnt, but unenjoyable burnt nonetheless. So he kindly requested a new batch. I don’t know if they kept speaking in Spanish because they assumed we didn’t speak it, or if that’s all they speak in the back, but they kept asking what was wrong with them. The server kept repeating, “he just wants them softer.” No, he just wanted them not to be burned. When they returned with his plate, the serving of fries was half the size it was before. If that’s not petty, I don’t know what is. My daughter could not eat her eggs either because they were inedible as well. My husband tried and he just spit them back out. My tea was a basic 99cents tea box bag with diluted light honey. Look, I get that it’s hard times all around and diners are struggling, but if I’m paying this much for eating out, not even a tip included in this price shown, I expect at least a little bit of quality. My husband ended up telling me that he did not even enjoy his burger, he just ate it to not make a big deal about it. He knows that I would, because that’s hard earned money that we’re spending at a local diner, regrettably. When I went to pay the bill, the server told me that she could not give me the discount for both my kids because I got my meal to go. I do not understand the logic in that, but I did not argue. Before that, I was ready to pay my 20% gratuity on my full bill, but after the service we were given, I aligned my logical math with their logical math. I paid 15% on what we ordered and ate in the diner for subpar service.
I had to lunch with friends here today. Margarita was an excellent and wonderful waitress! I had the Philly cheese steak with salad. They were both large portions and delicious! So was the blue cheese dressing! Another friend had eggs and pancakes and something else that looked delicious and large portions with huge and beautiful pancakes! She said it was all delicious, too! Someone else had a BLT with fruit and enjoyed it and took the rest home, as didwe all. It has been many years since I have been to Primo Cafe. I will be back again soon! I also did a takeout order of the western bacon cheeseburger with zucchini sticks. Oh, wow! He said that cheeseburger was delicious and I tasted his zucchini sticks, again a large portion, and again, delicious! That may be my side next time!
We had an absolutely wonderful breakfast today. I got the eggs, bacon, home fries, toast and coffee. Each item was perfect, and I wouldn't change a single thing. They offer flavored creamers with the coffee which is a great touch. The booth and silverware were clean. Will happily go back anytime.
I eat there once a week. For the most part, the service is decent. There are only two servers at the time that I go. This last time I went the food was probably one of the worst meals I’ve ever had there. I don’t know if the cook has been replaced and is a new cook, but I will never order that meal again. Everything is going downhill everywhere. Harder to get decent service because of shortage of staff and to find a restaurant to get decent meals anymore. It’s very hard as well.
Food is definitely good very pricey and service um Rude ... And - idk not friendly or nice put in that way . How do I love it when they don't suspect that I speak a second language like Espanol lol! Makes me laugh - . But a convenient location mostly and they're lucky with the language barrier according to okay they don't catch you in a bad day and say something they shouldn't I'm might have to give them an earful but it's all good . NEEDS A DRIVE THRU OR OUTDOOR SERVICE FOR TO GO ORDERS?? OR IF IT WAS MY PLACE IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION I WOULD PROBABLY ENCLOSE IT UP WITH SOME SKATING SERVERS TO WORK THE HUGE P.RK. LOT MAKE IT ROLLER SKATE / OLD FASHIONED DINER ... WHERE U COULD HAVE OUTDOOR EATING LIKE A DRIVE IN , 50s theme Like Happy DayS 👌
Tables were very dirty. There was crumbs and a used straw wrapper in the booth. Ordered chicken fried steak and eggs meal, and they forgot the toast. I had to ask 3 times and wait almost 10 min to get the toast. Chicken fried steak was decent, and lots of gravy with small sausage link pieces in it. I rate it a 5 on a 1-10 meal wise besides my complaints. They serve solid food overall, but nothing to rave about. Kitchen is cooking decent food. This place serves everything a standard primo serves, but they have TVs, full bar, and a more comfortable dining room. If they improved thier dining room cleanliness and service, they could easily earn another 2 stars from me.
AMAZING all around. Best french toast I’ve ever had, the biscuits and gravy was good, eggs were fluffy, even the bacon was perfect. Service was great. I’ve got no complaints and lots of praise.

Honestly in n out burger is just a long lived western and west coast burger joint. But it is very dedicated to freshness. They have distribution centers and warehouses nearby and make deliveries of product multiple times daily while keeping food pric
Awesome hometown classic American roadside food stand, walk up service with shaded outdoor dining, Great mix of classic American food. Definitely worth trying if passing through this small town.
Hands down best pizza and italian in Av. Super friendly staff and very fast if you pick up. Delivery is a tad longer the place is packed every night, that should tell you how popular they are. But still serve it up fast. I worked on pizza places as
Youâre in for a great meal and it doesnât stop there because the service and atmosphere is wonderful! I enjoyed a breakfast while oldies music was playing softly in the background â¤ï¸ Thank you and I will be back!
We enjoyed a nice dinner at Lucky Luke on a recent Monday evening. The restaurant is somewhat like a sports bar, with a couple large TVs on the wall behind the bar showing sports, several dining tables in the middle section of the room, and booths al
Great little dog park for both big dogs and small dogs. The big dog park has a large dirt area but it also has a grassy area too. The small dog park has both a mixture of grass and dirt. The grounds are well-kept and there's plenty of benches for the
