Such a great experience with every layer of this restaurant. From the ambience to the service to the selections to the quality and presentation of the farm to table food is outstanding. All food with the exception of the seafood is local from within a 150 mile radius. Seafood is shipped in daily. Menu changes regularly. Unique and flavorful menu options. A wonderful dining experience. Also, impressive wine and cocktail selections. Octopus, frog legs, scallops and halibut were delicious. Crème brûlée was heavenly.
Service was outstanding and the Chef’s not only crafted a perfectly prepared meal, but also friendly and personally visited our table to be sure everything was to our liking.
Spent a week going up and down Maine eating lobster everything and lobster rolls. They did not disappoint me here! Drink and dessert was wonderful too. Will definitely be going again and again! Oh and we are looking forward to trying so many dishes there that we've either never had or have never heard of. Excited to try new foods.
A semi-regular place when we feel like treating ourselves. A bit pricey but worth it. Not a big menu but there's usually something new each time we go. Great dessert and drinks. Brunch is very nice too. Check out the daily happy hour specials for great deals on wine/drinks.
I would start by saying that this has been one of the best experiences for me in a while. It is located within a retail strip but outside décor and inside setup is quite appropriate and cozy. Service was fantastic from the greeting at the entrance to the meal. To our surprise, they had a 3 course set menu for that evening and we were not expecting that but it was worth every single penny. Desserts were not as well curated as the rest of the menu and significantly lacked the taste but that is the only part where I would give 2 to 3 starts but otherwise it is a 5 star place all the way. For sure I would recommend the place and will be a returning guest at the restaurant as well.
Very fresh ingredients. The menu changes often based on ingredients. The menu is a decent size. The service is subpar. We never got our cornbread and the spacing between corses was inconsistent. However, I would go back.
We had the price fixe menu and everything was delicious. I had the goat cheese stuffed squash blossoms and it was amazing. We tried salads , lobster rolls, chicken, and pan seared scallops. Everything was cooked perfectly. We also had four desserts and they were all amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant!
So disappointing. I loved this place in the past. My wife’s drink tasted like rotten pineapple. The quail was so gamey tasting that we couldn’t eat it. Ordered lobster rolls. Cost was not listed…..SHOCKER… they charged $120.00 for two lobster rolls. We went home and we were both sick all night!!! Sorry - Prime you just lost me as a customer.
