Had high expectations given their Valentine's dinner charges were $70pp. Very average meal. Pear and strawberry salad was good, caprese was average. Chicken was lacking seasoning. Dessert were bad. Cheesecake texture was awful and there was not graham cracker crust underneath. Tiramisu tasted medicinal on the verge of bitter tasting. Server was excellent. Manager didn't come by to talk but waived the dinner check. Three stars to good service. But not good food.
Very flavorful dishes! Some of the platters weren't huge in proportion (ravioli), but absolutely made up for it with the flavor! Once we asked for extra bread to take advantage of the sauce, it was literally perfect :)
We have been to Italy a few times and it's hard to top the food there. But, Primavera's is a pleasant surprise with excellent food! We had the meatball antipasto and the meatballs were light, tasty and served with chunky marinara sauce that was devine. I had the cheese tortellini with a creamy garlic sauce, peas, mushrooms, and prosciutto. My hubby had the carbonara. The house salad dressing and the balsamic dressing were tasty without an overly vinegar taste. The bread was crusty and warm from the oven. The dipping sauce was unique with olive oil, garlic, capers, sun dried tomatoes, and oregano. Dessert was creme brulee that was served cold with a good sugar top. The tiramisu was tasty too. We dined alfresco and enjoyed a perfect evening.
Cioppino was misdiocre. The crab inside was disgustingly old. Asked for no mussels or clams and it was loaded with mussels. Waitress forgot our drinks. I also ordered a meal to go for my signaficant other and asked for two slices of bread that came with the Cioppino (the only tasty item) and was refused. $100.00 for bad crab, mussels, and refusing to throw in or even charge me for two slices of bread and you get this review. Hope it was worth it. Would have rather had a Big Mac at McDonald's.
We had been in this restaurant 8 years ago and did not get impressed then. They have improved dramatically in those years. Everything was very tasty. I had the salmon portofino and my husband had the jambalaya. The starter was calamary antipasto and it was delicious.
I gave 4 stars for the service because we were not offered bread in the beginning as is usual in Italian restaurants and because bringing the drinks took about 15 minutes.
I gave 3 stars for ambiance brcause the restaurant was packed and the tables were very close to each other and it was extremely noisy.
Came in for an early dinner with my son today was not greeted what felt like 5 minutes very slow traffic only two customers besides my son and I. My clams with pasta was plain with little flavor. My sons chicken Parmesan was ok but very little signature flavor or difference from other places. I asked for coffee was given late after having to ask twice for it. But the lack of seating us while they were standing around and looking like they didn’t want to give us a choice as to where to sit in this empty room as well Strange. Nothing was suggested as the dish of the day or evening. Lacks the normal courtesy you would expect at this restaurant.
Great food 😋.. great service! What more can I say? Well let me tell you.. the strawberry 🍓 pear 🍐 salad was amazing! My chicken saltimbocca was a portion big enough for lunch and dinner! The fresh baked bread, don't even try or you'll eat the whole basket and no room for their amazing creme brulee.
Ordered the shrimp pesto pasta. Nice quaint restaurant with bar. Open space seating is trendy. Open kitchen chefs are cranking out meals so very nice dining atmosphere. They are busy with a great business crowd. They offer take out. It's in the Total Wine shopping center but on the other end of the complex near Sprouts.
Pasta was full of nice shrimp. Not many sun dried tomatoes which I love but the flavor over all was okay. I would go back and continue to explore the menu. The staff was great and friendly!
