Pricor Technologies is great! They sent over Will to our home who was exceptionally helpful. Will was able to fix our sink in no time after identifying that it was clogged and now it's working perfectly. We will definitely be using Pricor Technologies in the future!
This may be a bit long but worth the read. In early January I called Aurora Plumbing to look at a possible reline of my sewer line. In talking to Aurora they turned me over to PRiCOR. Aurora does not do the reline so they turn you over to PRiCOR for a finders fee. I have zero problem with that, makes sense. In talking to Aurora they made if VERY, VERY clear that there would be no charge for PRiCOR to come out and scope my sewer line. I was told, “Even if you do not purchase a reline there will be no charge.” They would come out, scope with a camera and provide a quote. Everybody is a happy and smiling……….not for long.
Here's where things get shady. PRiCOR shows up at my rental property on January 4, 2023, mind you the house is in complete remodel condition. I was asked if there was a cleanout to which I said not to my knowledge. They would have to remove the toilet and place the camera down the 4 inch sewer line. Sean the “technician” said and I quote, “if we have to do work it is $399.” I foolishly agreed thinking I would deal with it later. It was crunch time and I needed a status on my sewer line. I was in the middle of working all day and had my defenses down. I needed the camera scope. What I should have done it showed them the door. Better yet, I should have removed the toilet in 2 minutes and saved myself $439. What a scam.
I eventually got hold of Wiley Cortez who is co-founder of PRiCOR. He was determined on keeping my $439 since I agreed to pay at the time. Literally 2 minuets to remove the toilet and another two to put back……$439. To make things more enjoyable, after the toilet was put back it leaked and I had to shut the water supply valve off.
In summary, think first before you engage with these two companies. Ask questions. Do not get caught like I did. Granted, I agreed to the charge when they came onsite but that does not negate the fact I was told one thing by Aurora and PRiCOR kept my money for what was supposed to be zero charge. I do not like getting taken advantage of, not a good feeling.
In the end I am much better off, I dodged a very expensive bullet. As opposed to relining only 50 feet of old terracotta pipe quoted $12,295 by PRiCOR, I replaced all 120 feet of old pipe with new PVC pipe for a ton less.
I now have a forever solution as opposed to a 10 year warranty on the C.I.P.P. (Cured in place pipe) only. What do you think is the better value now or and when it comes time to sell?
Cannot recommend this company enough! They have helped out our property management team servicing all around Seattle countless times over the last few years. Sean is typically our point of contact; he is extremely easy to work with, very reliable and does quick, great work. If you are looking for someone to help with a project, I can't recommend Pricor (and Sean) enough!
I had a pipe that failed. Called Tyson at PRICOR, he showed up within an hour from my phone call. Diagnosed my issue, gave me a quote and fixed the issue the next day. Great service and attention to detail. I highly recommend this company. Great customer service and quality of work.
Pricor Technologies re-lined the Edmonds home's 67 year old concrete sewer for me. Very professional teams kept at it solving all the problems completing the project. I'm very satisfied with the results.
The PRICOR team was really incredible. When we had a leak in our mainline down at the street, as a homeowner, it's challenging to know who to call and trust to get it fixed. Few things are more challenging that issues with water and especially jobs that require concrete excavation. The PRICOR team was responsive, friendly and got it done. They even handled the conversation with our local city inspectors to finish the job to code. I highly recommend the team at PRICOR.
Horrible experience. They were referred to is by another plumbing company who we feel also scammed us, saying he couldn’t go any further. We called Pricor and Sean came out and gave us a bid to hydro flush our line. It was $2200. He said if it did t work, he’d take the flush off if we had them do the line replacement work. Being desperate. We signed to have him repair the pipes that were 100years old. He replaced one section and then ran a scope and said that it was clogged at the last section before the main. But he charged us $7000 for the first dog. He then replaced the last pipe before the main. Both my husband and I asked why he was leaving the pipe between the two digs he did. He charged us $4,000+ for the second dig with the agreement that he’d be back to backfill and repair cement. The next morning, when my husband talked to him he said he’d need to run a liner in the five foot section we had asked about the night before. My husband asked how much that would be and Sean said $5500 plus tax. It was at that point that we felt that we were being scammed. We are senior citizens and we know how people in our situation get scammed by contractors. We had another local plumber come out and saw that there was a steady stream of water/sewer running from the remaining cement pipe into the hole where Sean laid pipe to connect to the main line. The plumber also asked if Sean had gotten a permit and I said he must have because when we asked about the old remaining pipe being left, he said some fast talking jargon about not getting approved, blah blah blah if he replaced that section. He also said he wouldn’t put a liner in there. He went back to his office and called the city to inquire and neither PriCor or All Pro plumbing had gotten permits. AllPro was the company that referred Pricor after replacing g a small section of pipe and then referred us, after charging us $4200 plus $714 to roto rooter it. The inspector came right out and said that none of it would pass inspection and that AllPros work had to all be torn out and redone. He also saw the leak. So, we called a plumber that did liners thinking we might save some from the $5500 that PriCor quoted. He scoped it for free and said that he couldn’t put a liner in that old pipe because it had a hole in it and the liner would fail. Sean was just going to come back and backfill to cover up his dirty work once we told him we couldn’t afford a liner. We stopped using PriCor and hired a very reputable sewer company with great reviews. Something we should have done initially but we were desperate and Sean and AllPro knew it. The plumber mover that tore out what PriCor and AllPro had done and laid it in one continuous line as the inspector said it should have been done. He charged us $4,500, for a permit and passed inspection with flying colors. Run as fast as you can from PriCor
These guys are one of the best in the business when it comes to side sewers and utilities in general. They do all of our lining and deep side sewer work that falls outside of our wheelhouse! One call and the solution is is immediately dealt with. Sean and his crews will not disappoint!
While leaving our airport hotel and starting our PNW road trip we typed in âcoffeeâ. We wanted something different than Starbucks and this popped up and had good reviews. Glad we went! Itâs in the middle of business district. But It was delicio
