Preston Ridge - Apartment complex in Hickory - 2001 Startown Rd, USA

Only been a few days in and the experience so far has been amazing. Miss Rachel, who took time to show us around and walk through all the details, was the sole reason we selected Preston Ridge. We had actually agreed to moving to a nice place, similar amenities etc on the water in Davidson (closer daily commute and nice place as well) until we happened by Preston Ridge to just see another place on way back but Rachel's patience and sincerity built trust with my wife and I that this was were we would call home for the time being. She did not disappoint and so far everything is just as she described. Safe, convenient and we could not be happier!

Our tour with Rachel was awesome! Super informative and helpful. She helped us figure out which unit we would want and showed us the pros and cons of each. Beautiful community, great amenities.

Our experience over the past 17 months has been great. We are comfortable here and feel safe and secure. The pool, gym, kitchen and common areas are beautiful and they maintain these areas as well as the outside. My favorite is the Amazon locker area. It makes it so convenient to receive packages. When we have had a few minor maintenance requests they are handled quickly and professionally. Requesting maintenance and paying rent is so easy as everything is managed on line. Rania is a wonderful manager, answering any questions we have had or just chatting with us when we pass through the lobby. We would highly recommend Preston Ridge to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place to live, whether it's a year or a lifetime.

My wife and I have only lived here for eight months, but it feels like home already. We feel safe and comfortable in and around the community. We already know we will be renewing our lease next year. Preston Ridge meets all our needs, and is very accommodating . Maintenance concerns are always dealt with immediately. The amenities are outstanding and the complex is lovely and is highly maintained.

I have lived here since May of 2022 and can say I have really enjoyed living here. Staff is caring and attentive to our needs as residents. They are friendly and work to resolve issues in a timely manner. Neighbors are great! You really get to know one another because of the variety of community events the staff puts together. Amenities are great and the community feels safe and clean.

My parents and I moved here almost 2 years ago. We sold my parents' house, and I moved them in with me so I could care for them and keep them together. After looking for over 6 months and right before we were going to move into a smaller, much less accommodating place, the leasing agent at Preston Ridge called me and a ground-level 3 bedroom/2 bath opened up at the last minute! We moved in within 2 weeks! We have been very happy here, and my mom tells all our family and friends, she feels like she is living in a resort! My parents are 86 and 82, and I am so happy that I can live here with them and make the latter part of their lives so comfortable here at Preston Ridge. Our 3rd bedroom allows for my son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids to have a place to stay when they come to visit us. If we need anything, management and maintenance are always here to help us however they can. We are so thankful to have found Preston Ridge.

I've lived here going on 2 1/2 years. It is a beautiful property with exceptional amenities. Anytime anyone visits, be it family, friends or delivery people, they are awe-struck. I hope new residents will have as much pride in our ho.e as we do!!! Raina the property manager is doing an excellent job!

My husband and I moved to Hickory from out-of-state and toured nearly all of the nicer apartment options in Hickory. We narrowed it down to One North in downtown Hickory and Preston Ridge, but we were able to get a unit in the main building (with the amenities) at Preston Ridge. We’ve had a really great experience. You will not find better rental amenities in Hickory. The main building is beautifully designed and the individual units in all of the buildings are spacious and modern. The property is very pet friendly, meticulously maintained, super safe, and quiet — all of which were non-negotiables as I work remotely and own a dog. We also enjoy having such close access to Waterbean Coffee — having a good food and beverage option within walking distance makes the general quality of life better IMO. I look forward to the completion of the walking path/trail — it’ll be great for all the pet owners.
