Great speak easy in down town Boise. Don’t be afraid to go through the curtains. What’s on the other side is a bar that feels like cheers, everyone knows your name m, unless it’s your first time. If it’s around Christmas make sure you get the Hot Buttered Rum. It will make you get in the spirit and feel like home.
Had dinner with coworkers prior to going to Press and Pony so no food to review but cocktails were had and were tasty and delicious! In particular was this Old Fashioned. A great way to end the evening!
Press and Pony is a relaxing, intimate bar. It is located in a shy location to the right of a sports bar. Enter through the doors, go through heavy curtains, and you are immediately transported to a bar that seems caught out of time. Time almost seems to stand-still in the dark and mysterious interior, with cool vintage photos and decor.
The drinks were solidly good and might lean a bit more heavily towards things that might appeal to a more traditional palate. (It would be nice to see a few creative non-alcoholic drinks added to the menu.) I had a Ginger Drop which was a fun, tasty little cocktail.
This would be a lovely spot to unwind and relax with friends or a romantic evening out for a date.
Soooo much GREAT Christmas fun was had...I will go back in 2024 to ring in the New Year!!
Awesome setting. Love that you’re only served if you have a seat so it’s not crowded. Also the music is a nice level so you can actually speak to company. Awesome specialty craft drinks based on how you’re feeling. Cool vibe and good drinks.
I love this place. If I lived here, I'd hang out here all the time! I felt so comfortable and like I could stay there for hours and hours.
It has such a great atmosphere, the service is fantastic and the drinks are delicious!
Take the time to look at the photos. I think they tell a story of the bar.
I'm not 100 percent which drink I had, but I loved it!
Casey knows her $hi! Every time we learn more, every time we are amazed by the service, the cocktails. We absolutely love the atmosphere, the drinks, the quality. Add to it you can get a burger, fries or delicious brussel sprouts next door. And you have a perfect evening
This is mine and my boyfriends favorite bar. Whether we want to relax from a stressful week or have a good laugh with the bartenders Erik, Jonah or Kacie. This place is very special to us and we come here as often as we can! This place will always have a part of our heart. The best bar in Boise by far! They make their own syrups and are very passionate mixologists:)
Is this one of the pricier bars in Boise? 100% But does that keep you from enjoying an AWESOME array of cocktails to please any pallette? No way. Really nice spot for an intimate drink after dinner
Tanner made some amazing cocktails! Great vibe, nice people, overall amazing experience. Had a Hole Mole which is like a tequila old fashioned (my favorite.) We also had Tom Collins and a fanch Buzz cocktail. YOU NEED TO COME HERE IF VISITING IDAHO

Great food and very friendly staff. We came with our dog and they accommodated us very well out on the patio and brought him his own water bowl too. The food we had was all great. It's neat to have a place so close where we can get to try handmade au
The trail systems at and around Camel's Back Park are top-notch! LOVE this area so much. Boiseans are very fortunate to have these maintained trails available to them for walking, hiking, running, and mountain biking.
The park itself is a lovely pi
I really enjoyed having a flight of unique experimental beers, while people watching in Downtown Boise. In October, we really enjoyed the fresh hop and Oktoberfest!
Amazing staff and cool vending machine.
We planned to stop in Boise on our drive from Seattle to Salt Lake City. We loved the Boise Guesthouse so much we returned a week later on our way home. On our first visit, we stayed in the Animal Studio, and on our second we stayed in the Travel Su
We ordered a German sausage and a Panini House. Both came with a small milk chocolate on the side, and a bag of Lay's chips. A simple yet delicious lunch at very fair prices and just what we needed on this hot Boise day. I finished the meal with Turk
Love it never been here before very nice my girls just loved walking around and seeing some of the animals like the fish.
All my kiddo kept talking about is wanting to see a sturgeon lol not sure if they have them there or not. Nice outing for family
Seriously the best empanadas! The crust is so buttery and yummy and the fillings are flavorful. I need to try more flavors, but recently I tried the Gaucho and the cheeseburger. Both were great, gaucho was my favorite!
Beautiful park area - I don't care for the narration boxes that much but the quotes on the walls are very moving. Lovely water features and very calming. It's right on the green belt, so it gets a lot of traffic.
My compliments to the chef. This food was so fresh and delicious. The taste was perfectly balanced and pleasing to all the senses. It was light, rich and flavorful. Iâm very particular about the quality of my food and I donât have a single compla
